The support I mean is that when you hear of Biafran agitation, be vocal and say it is the right of Igbos to go their way rather than speak against it

Have you ever seen any Igbo man fighting the idea of Oduduwa Republic, Yoruba Nation and Sunday Igboho?

But mention Biafra, IPOB and Kanu and all hell will break loose
How many of your rich men has openly support Biafra. Only the poor ones are the most vocals been online or offline. Chief priest relocated his business to Lagos and you think someone like him who is making money in Lagos will talk of Biafra. Obi cubana not long ago open a trycle assembly plant in Ikorodu. Emoney with his businesses in Lagos will now be agitating for Biafra. Even Bianca can't support Biafra movement. If she believes in the struggle, he will not accept to be even junior minister. Most of you igbos said she will not accept but what happened last last. Stay there and be crying everyday for imaginary Biafra were those that matter in south east are not even interested. Senator Abaribe support for Ipob movement is because of election winning and nothing more. He knows the game. Nmandi kanu has attack Obi in the past and said a lot of things about him and Obi couldn't challenge him. He exposed him. Today Obi support his Ipob movement, so not to get attack again. Only Dave Umahi was bold to attack kanu and his Ipob movement and nothing they could do to him.

I'll be glad if you can make a list of Yoruba elders and prominent men who have ever violently agitate against Biafra separation.

(Although this is not to support him) but does not your elders including Mr Peter Obi became agitated when lagospedia raise an hashtag about #ibomustgo isn't that a way of supporting you?

When you are really ready to leave Nigeria
1. You will recall all your senators and rep members from Abuja
2. You will stop all your Governors from collecting allocations from the fg
3. You will tell all your people living all over Nigeria to return home.
4. You will demacate just the small land belonging to the Ibos without adding other people's land as currently it is on your immaginary Biafra map.
4. Then you will request for a referendum.
That's when we will know that you're serious with the separation.

You are still kidding if the same you are an IPOB terrorist yesterday, obedient today, "Lagos is no man's lander" tomorrow. You are just a joke and that what we see you to be.
My submission too. What I notice about the Biafra movement is the clamour more of the poor ones. The igbos with oil well, will they support Biafra against Nigeria, when they know the will lose their licenses. Let them keep making noise on niaraland. Nobody is holding igbos about going, they are the ones holding themselves. Have they sat anyway to discuss it. Let them conduct mock referendum within themselves first to know if they are serious. Today they want president, tomorrow Biafra.

If you want to leave Nigeria and get your Biafra, you people no what to do. We have seen some African countries do. Go and follow their process and stop be stupid with these half baked talk most of you always do. You can start by not participating in election and program of the government, like immunization. You people should stop applying for government work and contracts. I don't take you people serious anyday cos I know you people are not stable. Have you people not be crying of Tinubu favouring his Yoruba and you people even said how many igbos in his government. Today you want presidency but when you people lose out, you remember Biafra. You people in all your five state should first conduct a mock referendum to ascertain how ready you are and now take it up. Most poor igbos are the ones mostly shouting Biafra.
You are not getting the point. It doesn't matter whether you take us serious or not or what we do. Fact is, whenever talks of biafra, ipob, nnamdi kanu are brought up, you, yes you will immediately be on attack mode. Something is really wrong with you people.

It's not for Igbos to grant anyone independence, Igbos don't own Nigeria

But I don't see any Igbo complaining about an ethnic group, but still fight to be in the same country with the ethnic group they are complaining about

If anyone feels that any ethnic group has a supremacist agenda, support that ethnic group to go their way as a seperate country, rather than insist on being in one country with them, and keep complaining forever

Makes no sense
These your statements are contradictory and follow each other on the same thread.

This is the problem with yoruba people. Always waiting for the rich to do or say something and point them to somewhere before they follow. Igbo man is different, we already know that the rich will never speak on our behalf and we don't have to wait for them.

This is happening in 1 NIGERIA!!!!

Just support BIAFRA so that you can own everything as you like.

This obsession of YORUBA on IGBO matters is becoming pathetic and it shows YORUBA insecurities in all totality.

PS: Fulani Herdsmen killed 4 OBAs. When are you going to write against them?

grin
So you are now saying you will not respect your boundaries until you get your Biafra?

It seems you are of the illusions that your Zikist one Nigeria interpretation only applies to Yoruba land.

I don't blame you. Rather it's the Yorubas who were the only ones to accept you into their midst after the civil war that I blame and Gowon for not punishing your war criminals.

The reason you are dragging Yoruba land and no where else is because it's only Yorubas that have not spoken to you in the only language you understand.

The adjourning SS that borders your SE, you can't try 1% of what you are doing in Yoruba land as those ones made it clear from the day federal forces liberated their lands from your evil Biafra never to accommodate you in their midst. Meanwhile, in northern Nigeria, they have ingrained into your DNA how to behave and know your limits. But the naive Yorubas who were never privy to the level of barbarity and covetousness that you posses and were ignorant on the extent of your war crimes on SS people during the occupation, took you in when no other one wanted you in their midst and this is how you pay them?

A day will come when a Nigerian senator will raise a motion for your expulsion to your Biafra. Do not cry when that happens.

"What's wrong with this man [Nduba Anekwe] contesting for the local government chairmanship [of Ojo LGA in Lagos State]. In an environment he was raised and contributing his quota to the development of the area?
Are you saying Nigerians in diaspora can't contest for elective positions in areas they are domiciled?

Tribalism has a limit and should have human face. It appears we lack humanity in us. We have wicked bile.

Anyway, in sane societies people with ethnic or racial outlook have no business coming for elective positions.

The likes of Bayo Onanuga and co. have no business being a Presidential spokesman. But here we are! He Is being glorified by powers that be and ethnic evanchists" 😭 "

My first reaction to this comment is to be very angry. You are calling me stupid to my face and by extension the Yoruba people as a collective.

1. You are telling me that in Ojo LGA of AWORI- YORUBA LAND, it doesn't matter if an IBO ANEKWE is Chairman of the LGA, the same LGA where Alaba International Market is located.

Are you aware that one "Alhaja Mesan" founded that Alaba Market just like "Alhaji Paramo" found LADIPO in the 1960s long before Ibos found their way to Lagos? Just as they obliterated Alhaji Paramo's name from Ladipo they pushed out Alhaja Mesan from Alaba.

Are you aware that in that Market, and most probably in all other Ibo-dominated markets in AWORI-YORUBA LAND OF OJO, Ibo men like ANEKWE wrote a constitution for the running of the market with a clause which PERPETUALLY DISQUALIFIES NON-IBOS from contesting elective positions into the Exco of that market.

In that same market wherefrom IBO ANEKWE most probably emerged, the late Mr. Moses Adebayo, the ONLY YORUBA MAN who had a reasonable business in the market was constantly harassed and very narrowly escaped being LYNCHED in broad daylight.

It happened in 2002, please find out.

His sin was that the IBOS couldn't stand a Non-Ibo exercising his rights to free market enterprise in a market located on his ancestral Yoruba land. They were angry that the man held in his hand a very enviable sole marketing rights for Nigerchin cables.

He just narrowly escaped being LYNCHED on the streets of Alaba Market when the Ibo traders set out to tear and burn in

What do you think could have happened to Moses Adebayo in Ariara Market of Aba? Would he have dared to be so successful under the noses of the barbarians of Abia who are mostly cannibals.

I remember I have told you some of these stories sometime ago, please give me links to the number of articles you have written of your findings and to condemn these things or you haven't finished your investigations?

2. You are telling me that ANEKWE has every rights to contest anything in Lagos when the same man is from a culture in Ibo land where a Catholic Priest from Anambra State wouldn't be allowed to lead a congregation in Imo State?

A culture where a whole parish of Anglican Church in Onitsha was BURNT DOWN by Ibo people just to ensure a Yoruba Priest didnt get to conduct Yoruba service in that Ibo land of Onitsha.

A culture where a young Yoruba man was summarily assassinared in that same Onitsha for daring to DREAM of contesting Councillorship seat into the council. He hadn't even started to aspire when he was killed.

A culture where an IBO man whose GREAT-GRANDFATHER migrated from EBONYI donkey years earlier was told that he couldn't contest Guber Elections in neighbouring IBO STATE OF ENUGU where his family had lived three generations.

A culture where Alex Obi was told by some Abia people that HE WASNT IBO ENOUGH.

In that same Abia, the people vehemently rejected the idea of an Anambra man being installed as an HONOURARY MAYOR OF ABA.

A culture where the FAMOUS JOHNSON family of Enugu hasn't produced a single councilor or known to have occupied any political office in Enugu even when that family has lived at least SIX (6) GENERATIONS in that city.

A culture where Bianca Ojukwu was told that she couldn't contest Senate in Anambra because her father was from Enugu, notwithstanding the fact of her marriage to Ojukwu.

Please give me links to the number of articles and comments that you have written to condemn these stories above or you never heard?

3. You are telling me about Diaspora, how mischievous of you!!!!

Were you not in this same country when Betty Anyawu Ada O-wèrè, just by virtue of the position of GOVERNOR'S WIFE supervised the movement of OPPORTUNITIES AND COMMONWEALTH due Ondo people to her kinsmen in Imo State?

She's been married into Yoruba family, had children for Yoruba family and living in Yoruba land for over 40years but every opportunity she has had it was ALWAYS BEEN IBO FIRST, even with the resources of Ondo State people. And anytime she had the opportunity to talk about Yoruba people it was always very derogatory. We can as well make her Governor of Oyo so a man like you can be happy in "One Nigeria" abi?

There is a man currently representing Eti-Osa of Lagos State in the House of Representatives. He is from Benue but rode into that position on the wings of the Ibo support in the Labour Party. The first time he was ever heard in the floor of the HoR, he was fighting tooth-and-nail for Ibo interest AGAINST the interest of the Yoruba people whose land he represented. He was fighting more or less to stop the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road because it won't make his ZIONIST friends happy.

In 1998, one Patrick Chidolue was elected by the Awori people of this same Ojo LGA in question on the platform of the UNCP. The elders of Awori land gave it to him on a platter of gold in the spirit of liberalism and "One Nigeria". He was all over the Aworis like a Saint. The DAY HE WAS ANNOUNCED WINNER, NO AWORI OR YORUBA MAN could near him ever again even in his office in Alaba. His Ibo people took over. They BLOCKED him totally from the Awori party leaders. He became Ibo property.

In that Lagos, the story is told of another Ibo member of HoR. All the days he spent at the HoR he was VOTING ALONGSIDE THE SOUTH-EAST CAUCUS of the House and never on the side of Lagos or the SW.

There was another Ibo man voted into the Lagos HoA. The FIRST CONTRIBUTION he ever made on the floor of the House was to request that the members should stop speaking Yoruba language in the House.

Are you aware of all these?

I bet you are not.

It has to be selective hearing for you sir.

In that Diaspora you are quoting, do you think Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala can be made a Governor of a State in America and she will sit down there doing Biafra things or moving around with Peter Obi Obingo mentality? Do your think Kemi Badenoch can become British PM tomorrow and she will be thinking in Yoruba? Believe me, as British PM, she can press the RED BUTTON to bomb Yoruba land if she found it necessary.

Can you say the same thing with the Aguiyi-Ironsi UNITARY CONSTITUTION running Nigeria?

Never!

An IBO GOVERNOR in Lagos will be thinking like someone just brought out of the evil forests Umeleri. It will be IBO FIRST for him. Next thing he will appoint an Eze of Lagos and place him above the Oba of Lagos. Then he will pick up the Land Use Act and sign off all the land of Lagos to his Ibo people.

In Osun, the dancing nuisance called Adeleke even with a Yoruba father, the fact that he had an Ibo mother and Ibo wife was powerful enough for him to hand over Osun State to the Ibos. In broad daylight he handed over the SOLE RIGHTS OF OSUN OSOGBO FESTIVAL TO AN IBO MAN. That Osun is one of the most supremely sacred customary matter of Yoruba people; he gave it to his Ibo relatives to handle.

In Lagos, Peter Obi handed over PRACTICALLY ALL THE LP TICKETS, INCLUDING SUPERVISORS ROLES TO THE IBO PEOPLE.

He was more or less saying that the Yoruba people of Lagos were either uselessly incompetent or stupidly untrustworthy. They didn't qualify for LP tickets to represent AWORI-YORUBA land of Lagos.

Please tell me, who is that man who will EVER EVER have such guts to do such a thing anywhere in Ibo land?

Nobody will dare.

4. Please tell me, why is it that this "Nationalism" of the Ibos finds appeal and suitable ONLY in Lagos and in the SW Yoruba landhuhhuh?

I don't understand. It has been so since the 1940s of Azikiwe. That "Nationalism" is advocated only for Yoruba land.

Why aren't they preaching it in Abuja, Kano, Sokoto, Borno etc?

Why don't they preach it in Edo, Delta and Kogi?

Why don't we hear the Ibos challenging the Anang and Ibibios of Akwa Ibom on their politics and opportunities? Why dont we hear it in Rivers and Bayelsa so close to Ibo land?

But in Ondo, the Ibo man had an Eze who was pointing fingers at the nose of Oba Deji Akure or you didn't hear?

In Ibadan, the Ibos are talking about "detribalized politics" the things they won't say in Kaduna!!!!

Are you aware that Peter Obi got LESS THAN 30,000 VOTES in the whole of Kano at the last Presidential Elections and he didn't even try to grumble. But in Lagos where he got over 500,000 votes he called the entire Yoruba people "Emilokan".

The entire South- East is just about the size of Oyo State yet it has Five (5) Governor, 15 Senators, 95 LGAs and about 45 Members HoR. All these people collecting allocations and benefit according to the iniquitous 1999 constitution which derives from Aguiyi-Ironsi and Ben Nwabueze. But you want to cross over into Yoruba land to share their own political DUES and add to yours!!!

What kind of crooked sense is thathuhhuh?

Please, I beg you, DONT EVER EVER make the mistake of this kind of argument with me again. It gets me very mad.

YOU ARE CALLING THE WHOLE OF YORUBALAND FOOLS TO OUR FACES.

Please be warned.

I am now convinced that this campaign has to move from social media to the physical. We are going to be physical!!!

U people are just paned because of the resilience of the igbos.... Now take this for example. My ex gf Ada, who got married back in 2012... Decided to make a relocation to a new city with her husband, they chose uyo, a city non if them have any history of ever visiting..

They rented a flat as a new couple, sh has a car bought for her at her wedding by her family, they guy is a trader, sh works with fedelity bank.... While there she made friends , infact best friend with another fidelity bank staff but akwa -ibomite... Also a new couple... Also living in a flat ... As time flies, rents for a 2bedroom tripled... It was eating deep into sh and her husband's finance...sh discuss this with her husband...

And they decided to get a land and build their own house in order to stop payment rof rent ..

Sh discussed this idea with her friend who also works with her and in same grade level at work... That one waved it aside and saw it as too big a project with his small salary... Ada went ahead and got a loan from the bank... The guy forbade loan and a burden in salary, Ada ND her husband moved to a self contained house with their child and lived there for straight 4years to reduce rent whilst building their own house...

They packed into it uncompleted, but just with burglary and doors, no plastering, no fence, just German floor, bathroom ND toilet ND kitchen don't have door, dey used curtain.... Fast forward to 5years later. The house is a massive classic house... ND now the fmr house rent have tripled again from it's once tripled cost before ...

Do u know that Ada was shocked to see the akaw-ibom guy join argument with people in the bank circle to criticize igbos of trying to dominate them ND buying up all the lands ND building houses everywhere like it's their state... He is still in resent ND having a very very hard time with rent moving from about 250k to 700k....

Ada and her husband dnt talk about rent anymore... They are landlords in uyo... And they are hated for making a wise cost saving decision..

U lots should continue to criticize igbos instead of getting the right things done... All the academic doctors I know at Unizik that are Yoruba are still in rented apartment, they say here is not our land so we can't build houses here.... They earn about the uppermost in the university, yet they refuse to buy land Wich was selling then at like 500k per plot....

Go to UI, go to ife, go to every southwest big university community, u will realize the igbos high earning academia all live in their own houses... They bought lands ND built houses to run from huge rents... They believe more that everywhere in this countries territory is Nigeria... But u lots see only ur southwest location as Nigeria... Abeg make Una park!!!!!

Timid squad!!!

What the OP said is absolutely right. Igbos can't even allow fellow igbo who have lived in one of the states but originally from another eastern state to contest election. Bianca Ojukwu is a case study cos even when Anambarians made us to believe that Ojukwu is Thier Messiah and even founded APGA the ruling party in the state but still they tell her wife to get lost. Igbos are the most hostile tribe in Nigeria. I have lived and transact businesses with many tribes but igbos are something else. Only few are actually good. The Yorubas has been good to you people in the past but you people took their meekness for foolishness and now when they become ruthless, you are screaming. I support the Yorubas for not allowing igbos to contest any elective positions in Lagos. If you like, live Lagos for fifty years, you are not a Yoruba. Go to your place and contest. Other region, you see people contesting election in past from another region but in igboland, is a taboo.
Nobody is stopping you from contesting election in Igboland. Bianca Ojukwu lost to Ifeanyi Ubah. Nobody stopped her from contesting for Senate. In 2023, Obiano 's wife lost her Senatorial bid to Tony Nwoye. Nobody stopped her from contesting. We are here to debunk your lies against Igbo.
Re: Igbo Supremacy Agenda by ivandragon: 9:33am On Dec 05, 2024
Though the OP's post is just part of the state sponsored attempts to distract from the disaster that is apc and bat, there is a need for the South East Region to reevaluate some of thier actions and caution some of thier agitators.

The first step needed is to thoroughly condemn all acts of violence in the East under the guise of Biafra agitation. It is ridiculous that a person who wants to secure freedom from oppression would visit a worse form of oppression on another person. Also, those who perpetuate this violence would continue to use it against any one with a contrary view when Biafra is achieved. History has shown that violent agitators more often than not turn into violent oppressors themselves.

Second, internalise what you condemn. That Nigeria is presently not where it should be is not in doubt. But the question arises, how do each constituent regions administer themselves? Are the elected officials in the Eastern region living up to the ethos of what Biafra espouses? Are the people, within thier own capacity, electing the right leaders at all levels that directly represent thier interest?

Third, reduce the verbal clashes with other regions, especially in the south. Regardless of whatever might have transpired, the Igbos and Yorubas rarely have serious clashes, at least not since the civil war. There is a sort of understanding among them. But you cannot disparage a tribe and not expect a reaction. That is where people like Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa got it all wrong. You can agitate for your freedom without insulting others. Also, that is what state sponsored elements are hiding behind to cover thier failure.

Fourth, accept and respect the hospitality of your hosts for those outside the East. As much as you have your full rights under the law, learn to be sensitive to socio-cultural differences which may create conflict. The tradition of trying to impose certain aspects of your culture in another man's territory should stop. If you feel you want to do something close to your culture, consult widely. If it is rejected, accept it and move on.

Fifth, stop dragging Lagos with the Yorubas. By geography and culture, it has become thiers. Enjoy the hospitality and life. If opportunities to contest electoral posts come up, do so with humility and the best interest of the community you represent there. Do not take the opportunity for granted.

Sixth, do not force any part of the country to join Biafra, that is what led to its failure during the civil war. The moment the territory began to extend beyond its well known boundaries, it collapsed. Focus on the key area. Others can join later out of thier own free will especially when they see how progressive the new country is.

Seventh, be less combative to opposing views. Marshal out your points, objectives and plans in a clear, concise and honest manner. Do not let vile distractions becloud your judgement and engagements.

Eighth, recognise the growth and advancement of other tribes. For every achievement the Igbos have, such can be found in other tribes. For every bad character of other tribes, the Igbos have thiers. Stop unnecessary measurement of ethnic d**ks.

Lastly, seek collaborations across tribes. That you have your own objective does not stop you from building bridges. Even when Biafra is achieved, the location would not change. You would still need to deal with other tribes, socially, economically and politically. Biafra can be achieved through peaceful means which would create stronger bonds. Remember, a large percentage of Igbos earn thier livelihood in other regions, think of them and protect them. Also, do away with violent buffoons as the leading voices for the agitation. Get respected and cultured people to lead the drive.

One Nigeria in south west.

Only Igbo in south east.
Right from time, SouthEast has been an all Igbo dominated region. Nobody stops you from earning a living, doing business or contesting election. You are afraid of losing that's why you never bothered to try.

Okay, we won't call for Biafra again but allow Igbos be whatever they want outside SouthEast. That's the beauty of one Nigeria.
