Many roads abroad do not have drainage.
The road to my village was done by Julius Berger more than 20 years ago. It's still fresh as new. It doesn't have drainage. It depends on the topography of the area. It's not compulsory.

Ikwerres Have Rumu, Oro, Mgbu, Eli as a prefix to the name of their settlements unlike the Etches. So stop typing rubbish's. The Ikwerres dont speak like the Etches

Etche, Omuma, Oyibo and Ogba Egbema uses Umu. Even main Ikwerre LGA uses Umu. Only Obio Akpor, Port Harcourt uses Rumu and Emuoha too

this was a road the Wike could not complete because he was in disagreement with someone from that area, such any evil person, God will disgrace him.

Topography is what determines where it is required.


Ismt is not landscaping for aesthetics

Gov Wike constructed this road upto 97%, Fubara only did the cleanup of the road for commissioning.

Fubara cannot take Gov Wike glory. Fubara has not done anything in Rivers state except thanksgiving services.

Etche and Omuma people are solidly with Gov wike

When the rains begin and that road gets washed off, you will be the same animals to come here and criticize the Governor for doing a shoddy job. Rivers State communities are mostly riverine and they don't need drainage on both sides. Same technology was applied in Anambra West LGA of Anambra which was considered a riverine area of the State. Dredging depth (Incase of Pillars)
Texture and moisture retention capabilities

and so many much more.

The simplest form of road build that doesn't require drainages abounds in different scenarios. On the surface the road looks Level, but in closer inspection the roads are actually slanting..to right or the left. This makes stagnant water from rainfall run off the road to the side where the soil absorbs it

Not all ikwerre please. We have such from those emuoha/ogbakiri guys and part of akpor that migrated from ekpeye.
You don't find such in elele alimini, igwurita, isiokpo or ndele etc.
Don't generalise when you see ikwerre man denying his igbo origin. Those that do that are majorly from ogbakiri/ekpeye origin.
