gidgiddy:How many of your rich men has openly support Biafra. Only the poor ones are the most vocals been online or offline. Chief priest relocated his business to Lagos and you think someone like him who is making money in Lagos will talk of Biafra. Obi cubana not long ago open a trycle assembly plant in Ikorodu. Emoney with his businesses in Lagos will now be agitating for Biafra. Even Bianca can't support Biafra movement. If she believes in the struggle, he will not accept to be even junior minister. Most of you igbos said she will not accept but what happened last last. Stay there and be crying everyday for imaginary Biafra were those that matter in south east are not even interested. Senator Abaribe support for Ipob movement is because of election winning and nothing more. He knows the game. Nmandi kanu has attack Obi in the past and said a lot of things about him and Obi couldn't challenge him. He exposed him. Today Obi support his Ipob movement, so not to get attack again. Only Dave Umahi was bold to attack kanu and his Ipob movement and nothing they could do to him. |

UncleAyo:My submission too. What I notice about the Biafra movement is the clamour more of the poor ones. The igbos with oil well, will they support Biafra against Nigeria, when they know the will lose their licenses. Let them keep making noise on niaraland. Nobody is holding igbos about going, they are the ones holding themselves. Have they sat anyway to discuss it. Let them conduct mock referendum within themselves first to know if they are serious. Today they want president, tomorrow Biafra. |

kedeojo:You are not getting the point. It doesn't matter whether you take us serious or not or what we do. Fact is, whenever talks of biafra, ipob, nnamdi kanu are brought up, you, yes you will immediately be on attack mode. Something is really wrong with you people. |

| Re: Igbo Supremacy Agenda by izombie(m): 8:57am On Dec 05, 2024 |
kedeojo:This is the problem with yoruba people. Always waiting for the rich to do or say something and point them to somewhere before they follow. Igbo man is different, we already know that the rich will never speak on our behalf and we don't have to wait for them. |

BiafranPatriot:So you are now saying you will not respect your boundaries until you get your Biafra? It seems you are of the illusions that your Zikist one Nigeria interpretation only applies to Yoruba land. I don't blame you. Rather it's the Yorubas who were the only ones to accept you into their midst after the civil war that I blame and Gowon for not punishing your war criminals. The reason you are dragging Yoruba land and no where else is because it's only Yorubas that have not spoken to you in the only language you understand. The adjourning SS that borders your SE, you can't try 1% of what you are doing in Yoruba land as those ones made it clear from the day federal forces liberated their lands from your evil Biafra never to accommodate you in their midst. Meanwhile, in northern Nigeria, they have ingrained into your DNA how to behave and know your limits. But the naive Yorubas who were never privy to the level of barbarity and covetousness that you posses and were ignorant on the extent of your war crimes on SS people during the occupation, took you in when no other one wanted you in their midst and this is how you pay them? A day will come when a Nigerian senator will raise a motion for your expulsion to your Biafra. Do not cry when that happens. |

The depth of your insecurities & cowardice is scary. Don't choke on Igbo matter. The Igboman in your land is out there hustling but you spend much time hating on him. Make more money and you will most likely have lesser room in your heart for hate. |

garykoeman:Stop with the lazy excuses bro. You can't compete in the south-east with anyone. How can you outcompete an igbo man in the south-east, when you are struggling without government helps to keep pace with him in the south west that is your home turf? Check am naa. You guys make the mistake of thinking that business and trading demands little skills. That's what you have to work on. Every trade deserves certain attention to details and those that have been there for decades, will always be conversant with this. |

| Re: Igbo Supremacy Agenda by blacksam01: 9:32am On Dec 05, 2024 |
U people are just paned because of the resilience of the igbos.... Now take this for example. My ex gf Ada, who got married back in 2012... Decided to make a relocation to a new city with her husband, they chose uyo, a city non if them have any history of ever visiting.. They rented a flat as a new couple, sh has a car bought for her at her wedding by her family, they guy is a trader, sh works with fedelity bank.... While there she made friends , infact best friend with another fidelity bank staff but akwa -ibomite... Also a new couple... Also living in a flat ... As time flies, rents for a 2bedroom tripled... It was eating deep into sh and her husband's finance...sh discuss this with her husband... And they decided to get a land and build their own house in order to stop payment rof rent .. Sh discussed this idea with her friend who also works with her and in same grade level at work... That one waved it aside and saw it as too big a project with his small salary... Ada went ahead and got a loan from the bank... The guy forbade loan and a burden in salary, Ada ND her husband moved to a self contained house with their child and lived there for straight 4years to reduce rent whilst building their own house... They packed into it uncompleted, but just with burglary and doors, no plastering, no fence, just German floor, bathroom ND toilet ND kitchen don't have door, dey used curtain.... Fast forward to 5years later. The house is a massive classic house... ND now the fmr house rent have tripled again from it's once tripled cost before ... Do u know that Ada was shocked to see the akaw-ibom guy join argument with people in the bank circle to criticize igbos of trying to dominate them ND buying up all the lands ND building houses everywhere like it's their state... He is still in resent ND having a very very hard time with rent moving from about 250k to 700k.... Ada and her husband dnt talk about rent anymore... They are landlords in uyo... And they are hated for making a wise cost saving decision.. U lots should continue to criticize igbos instead of getting the right things done... All the academic doctors I know at Unizik that are Yoruba are still in rented apartment, they say here is not our land so we can't build houses here.... They earn about the uppermost in the university, yet they refuse to buy land Wich was selling then at like 500k per plot.... Go to UI, go to ife, go to every southwest big university community, u will realize the igbos high earning academia all live in their own houses... They bought lands ND built houses to run from huge rents... They believe more that everywhere in this countries territory is Nigeria... But u lots see only ur southwest location as Nigeria... Abeg make Una park!!!!! Timid squad!!! |

kedeojo:Nobody is stopping you from contesting election in Igboland. Bianca Ojukwu lost to Ifeanyi Ubah. Nobody stopped her from contesting for Senate. In 2023, Obiano 's wife lost her Senatorial bid to Tony Nwoye. Nobody stopped her from contesting. We are here to debunk your lies against Igbo. |

Though the OP's post is just part of the state sponsored attempts to distract from the disaster that is apc and bat, there is a need for the South East Region to reevaluate some of thier actions and caution some of thier agitators. The first step needed is to thoroughly condemn all acts of violence in the East under the guise of Biafra agitation. It is ridiculous that a person who wants to secure freedom from oppression would visit a worse form of oppression on another person. Also, those who perpetuate this violence would continue to use it against any one with a contrary view when Biafra is achieved. History has shown that violent agitators more often than not turn into violent oppressors themselves. Second, internalise what you condemn. That Nigeria is presently not where it should be is not in doubt. But the question arises, how do each constituent regions administer themselves? Are the elected officials in the Eastern region living up to the ethos of what Biafra espouses? Are the people, within thier own capacity, electing the right leaders at all levels that directly represent thier interest? Third, reduce the verbal clashes with other regions, especially in the south. Regardless of whatever might have transpired, the Igbos and Yorubas rarely have serious clashes, at least not since the civil war. There is a sort of understanding among them. But you cannot disparage a tribe and not expect a reaction. That is where people like Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa got it all wrong. You can agitate for your freedom without insulting others. Also, that is what state sponsored elements are hiding behind to cover thier failure. Fourth, accept and respect the hospitality of your hosts for those outside the East. As much as you have your full rights under the law, learn to be sensitive to socio-cultural differences which may create conflict. The tradition of trying to impose certain aspects of your culture in another man's territory should stop. If you feel you want to do something close to your culture, consult widely. If it is rejected, accept it and move on. Fifth, stop dragging Lagos with the Yorubas. By geography and culture, it has become thiers. Enjoy the hospitality and life. If opportunities to contest electoral posts come up, do so with humility and the best interest of the community you represent there. Do not take the opportunity for granted. Sixth, do not force any part of the country to join Biafra, that is what led to its failure during the civil war. The moment the territory began to extend beyond its well known boundaries, it collapsed. Focus on the key area. Others can join later out of thier own free will especially when they see how progressive the new country is. Seventh, be less combative to opposing views. Marshal out your points, objectives and plans in a clear, concise and honest manner. Do not let vile distractions becloud your judgement and engagements. Eighth, recognise the growth and advancement of other tribes. For every achievement the Igbos have, such can be found in other tribes. For every bad character of other tribes, the Igbos have thiers. Stop unnecessary measurement of ethnic d**ks. Lastly, seek collaborations across tribes. That you have your own objective does not stop you from building bridges. Even when Biafra is achieved, the location would not change. You would still need to deal with other tribes, socially, economically and politically. Biafra can be achieved through peaceful means which would create stronger bonds. Remember, a large percentage of Igbos earn thier livelihood in other regions, think of them and protect them. Also, do away with violent buffoons as the leading voices for the agitation. Get respected and cultured people to lead the drive. |
