Kai! I remember when ASABA was just a glorified village. I can’t believe this is Asaba. Like play like play, this country is actually developing.

Benin city my state capital is a complete opposite. Oshiomole's effort to modernize Benin was thwarted by Obaseki a Benin man. Combined 16 years of Benin governors since 1999, yet the couldn't develop it. Others governors before Okowa didn't really did much but Okowa a delta igbo had the opportunity to upgrade Asaba. He shows he remembered home. With governor Okpeboho effort to resuscitate the water fountain at kings square, then there is hope for modernization of benin city properly. When I visited Asaba sometimes ago, I was really surprised cos the last time I went was not like that. Okowa transformed it.

Benin definitely deserves a visionary governor who actually knows the glorious history of that city and kingdom. And has a sense of restoring it to its precolonial glory.

You just said it all. Price rent and lands is very high due to demand. So many people from east and edo have moved to Asaba due to the peace and calmness.

Incase anybody needs a house for rent and land to buy in Asaba, I'm you sure plug.

Asaba has always been a Beautiful and serene City in Delta state, Just like Ughelli, Warri, etc.

You hardly hear of Crisis of any kind.

Yet you will see some Tinibu Agbad0rians who have NEVER crept out of their Ogbomosho, Oshogbo or Auchi enclave
claiming that Delta State is Backward when in their States, they Still sh*t inside Bush and their Schools still use Slate and Chalk.

Stop saying what you have no knowledge about. Asaba opened up because Okowa mapped out a drainage system which countered flood around many areas of the town and then he built many new roads to link places up.

Okowa tried but the real catalyst is the massive influx of wealthy and middle class families from Onitsha to Asaba due to insecurity and congestion ...............Asaba was like a suburb but infact is now a major metropolis with its own unique vibe!

Asaba is a city with great quality of life. The producers of this documentary did a good job even though they did not cover a lot of places. The stretch of Benin Onitsha road is fast becoming a big bustling commercial road but is often neglected because it's labeled express road. Kudos.

Okowa dis well no doubt like i already said, but apart from the adjoining street roads, mention on major road in asaba that it wasn't ibori that did it. All government structures u see in asaba today where constructed by obori,... Apart from the new state secretariat done by okowa,..... Go and do ur findings very well

U are arguing without reading what i road,... Tho initially did the DLA, okpanam, and NTA road u mentioned? Are u aware that roads have expiring dates? Okowa did excellently well for Asaba i am not disputing that fact. What am telling u is he continued development of whats already on ground and even did way more. For the floor control drains i give him kudos, for koka flyover i give him thumbs up and other jobs he did. But u can't deny the fact that what ever u see in Asaba today all started during ibori time. Ibori set out the foundation. My first time in asaba was in 2000 and believe me it was bush. There was no single dual road in asaba as at then. The only basic road in asaba then was okpanam down to nnebisi road. Dbs road was there too. The only notable things u see in okpanam toad where the mango trees. Every other place was bush. Ibori tore open asaba to the development u are seeing today. Uduaghan did no jack,. And okowa consolidated on the works

So na only Asaba dey Delta State?? What about these other places??
