Why does this remind me of one Hollywood movie where one woman set up an old people's care-home business funded by a criminal? There is more to this story than the media is giving out.. I have a family relative working at that same complex at Minnetonka, Minnesota, This company is a multinational Insurance Company in the USA known as United Health Group LTD. Which offers Health Insurance to the citizens of America. Around early yesterday, its CEO Brian Thompson was fatally shot in Manhattan, New York, while preparing for a shareholders meeting. The gunman just walked on him and pumped several bullets into his chest, then walked away down a Manhattan alley. Thompson was rushed to Mt Sinai Hospital, which is one of America's most lucrative private hospitals but died on arrival. When you look at the comments of Americans, they have no sympathy for him. His company has the worst record for refusing to authorize patient insurance claims. Many patients have died because of this company's callous approach to pre-authorization. Therefore, the gunman must have been angered or frustrated by United Health. The gunman left behind the words "deny," "defend," and "depose." This is the same thing that will likely happen to MHO in this country. If you closely follow how they operated the civil servants Insurance, you will understand their operations. The frustration that awaits Nigerians because their health financing is in the hands of a businessman will be epic. You will see. I have always told us to take care of our health because hospitals are in business. Sad. But welcome to the USA. The saddest part is that I have been reading comments on Yahoo about this story and many many ate happy. They are saying that Insurance companies are treating people like shit. Take your premium but when it's time to pay, they start looking for excuses. |

JAPAHTML:Yes, United has the highest rate of insurance denials. What that means is you buy their insurance, you pay every month for 15 years. Then you have to go to the hospital for something life threatening, and the insurance company refuse to pay for it. Even when you have insurance in the Us the company can say no when it's time to pay for your procedure or medicine. What makes this bad is that a simple check up in the US from a doctor is $700-$1200 dollars, so a surgery will easily run into $20,000-$60,000 which is the average person's entire annual income. So everyone is tired of the corrupt insurance system in the US and that's why they're happy. United denies 30% of people.
