Kudos to Maresca for finding a way to make us press with Cohesion and not get dragged out of position like we saw last season. Little wonder the most improved player this season is Caicedo. But then, individual brainfarts from below average defenders will always seek us out, especially against quality opposition.

Colwil is a decent defender and doesn't need to be extraordinary before he can win the league when our attackers are reliable.

Mascherano was converted to CB and won trophies that great defenders couldn't win.

Also I can't remember a world class CB that Leicester had, before they won the league that year. But we remember Vardy and his immense contributions inside the box.

Spend more on attack and get a new CB(Silva's replacement). While all you wanted was just to see improvement and not winning the league as indicated with your support for a wasteful Jackson, same thing you did for a wasteful Morata.
