It is not possible for any one to have just the name of a bank and half of the bank account number and then get into one's account to expose the details. make this man fear God in his lies.

there are other information he supplied to this guy and he is not telling. just bank name and first 5 digits of account number cannot do any scammer any good. Does he know the number of random numbers out there ? if this was possible to hack into an account with just this 2 details, then no one will bank in Nigeria.

He may have someone on the inside, in which case those last 5 digits would be unique to every individual.

there is an app to retrieve bank information by inputting details, it also sends fake credit alerts that will be reversed after some minutes...


These softwares are what most boys use, bt it awful. I have seen the victims of these acts and it very awful. Although I use it for irrelevant/fun purposes too.

There are about 4 common softwares for that...

Bank loop holes and security should be a priority in Nigeria.

Well, no sufficient motivation to want to switch roles, and no be today boys dey form hacking, then just few questions during interrogations they will admit they used an app created by one person somewhere, that they don't even know( most likely a Russian or Japanese programmer). And that is my point, using someone's app does not automatically qualifies you as a talented hacker, anybody can do that.

If you are still in doubt and if you have the budget, I will build you an app that will retrieve your bank info, send you fake alert etc.
