From your first question, I didn't bother to continue because you're just another stark illiterate disgracing himself on a public forum!

The court in Ekiti does not have jurisdiction over an alleged crime committed in Lagos!

Werey!
Don't display ignorance. That facts should be argued in court and not at press conferences

Why is it always Lagos

It is Ekiti Police that detained the man!!

What are you trying to set up Lagos Government for again?

After the fake Lekki massacre hoax that almost led to Ipob burning down Lagos?

Judges are now seen as wig-wearing crooks, selling Judgement to the highest bidder. What then is the hope of the common man?

It is now clearly a crime to be poor in Nigeria. You will be striped of your rights and possessions..

Why declare protest on same day the accused will be released? Dele will be released December 10, Sowore wants to protest same December 10. Does it make any sense?

I read through your reference. It didn't support your claim. Denied oral bail, how is that wrong, they should file the bail application and come to argue it and it would be determined on its merit. You guys are just bullies, trying to intimidate the court and the aggrieved.

Did you read the full post of the man you quoted . So this is what you can type to such insightful and well balanced take of the poster concerning the Afe/ Rotimi brouhaha?
So if a so-called nationalist / Activist as well as a lawyer HAS SOLID PROOF Nigerian judges are colluding with some people to SUBVERT JUSTICE and are ENGAGING IN JUDICIAL CORRUPTION , the said " activist " best way to expose such serious allegations that is a matter of national security is to publish a book about it ? And the proceeds from such book sale goes where ? Get a clearer pair of glasses , you lots are seeing a freedom fighter , I see a cachivist !

Thank God for Barrister Afe-Babalola , a lawyer with a lesser reputation would've let it slide while his junior colleague cashed out with a book with serious accusations based on CONJECTURES and INNUENDO , but the one with a reputation to protect has gone out of his way to make sure such damning allegations against his chambers and more importantly the judges of the APEX COURTS will not be reduced to beer parlour gist originated from one fictitious books . So Mr dele-faotimi should have his day in court to prove he is not guilty of criminal libel with the book he wrote , after which we expect the DSS, NJC , ICPC at al to start their investigations if the boy who cried wolf is eventually found out to be telling the truth . THE BURDEN OF PROOF REST ON THE ACCUSER , but we know the LYNCH MOB hate that maxim .

This Sowore man has nothing better to do other than calling for protests over irrelevant mundane stuff. Farotimi abused the entire judiciary from Afe Babalola down to the Supreme Court simply because he didn’t get his way within the Judiciary. That is gross defamation of character and this jobless one wants to stage a protest. Go a stage a cretin man’s protest and some brainless zombie with nothing better to do with their life can join.

It is time we all begin to condemn the weaponization of protests by Omoyele Sowore.

We must not sit idly and be selective when it comes to issues bordering on national security.

Mr Dele Farotimi not only made some damning allegations against Afe Babalola SAN in a book, he also made same in a press conference.

According to Afe Babalola's petition against Dele Farotimi, he petitioned that Dele Farotimi alleged as follows:

What has been established?

1. Dele Farotimi himself admitted there was a bench warrant issued against him to appear in Ekiti State to answer to the summons. wWhy didn't he honour the invitations? He claimed he committed the crime in Lagos and saw no reason to be called to Ekiti. Which law school did he even attend?

2. Instead of attending to the warrants, Dele Farotimi rushed to do a press conference to make claims that Afe Babalola was using the judiciary to bully him. No one questioned his accusations; they just believed him, because in their eyes, he could do no wrong.

3. If there is a bench warrant, how is it illegal? Can it be vacated? How? If yes, why didn't he seek a superior court order to vacate it?

4. Sahara Reporters and People's Gazette are being used to villify Afe Babalola to the effect that they even lied that King's College was considering their relationship with Afe Babalola. I think they should be added to the law suit.

5. Some people do not understand that human rights activism is not a license to bully those they don't like. Many of the latter-day human rights so-called activists are using their voice to terrorize and destroy others. There must be accountability for things said.

6. Atiku Abubakar desperately tried, but failed to effectively condemn President Bola Tinubu for the arrest of Farotimi. His vituperations failed when it was established that both Farotimi and Babalola supported the same candidate, and Babalola is not particularly fond of Tinubu. The candidate both legal pugilists supported took sides with one of them quickly because the mob supporting him took that side.

What we see is that there is unjustified anger by a certain mob against Afe Babalola, which we consider unfair. Dele Farotimi made some allegations against Afe Babalola and the Supreme Court as well as Justices of the Supreme Court, including Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour. It is incumbent upon Dele Farotimi to prove those allegations so that if anyone is corrupting our Supreme Court, the person is identified and EFCC steps in, and all judges involved are punished. Otherwise, let the law be applied on such if a case of defamation is established. It is also a matter that borders on national security if our Supreme Court is said to be corruptible and corrupted. If justices were compromised, the sensible thing to do would be to submit a petition to the NJC. If that was not done, then it amounts to malice to rush to write a book without substantiating such accusations. I urge the DSS to invite Dele Farotimi to come and give explanations on what he knows about corruption in the judiciary.

As for Afe Bababola, do not bow to the pressure of the mob. The name you have built for yourself and your children is being rubbished. Deploy every legal arsenal you have to ensure that Dele Farotimi proves everything he accused you of.

I'd also call upon the young ones who join protests senselessly. Omoyele Sowore is a failed politician who uses protests to advance his failed political ambitions. He misled some of our young ones to riots last August. Remember that some of them died. Has he visited their families? Do not allow yourself to be a weapon in the hands of a failed revolution monger, please.

It must be noted that the intention of Sowore in this matter is not for justice. By carrying the whole matter on his head despite the fact that Dele Farotimi campaigned aggressively for Peter Obi instead of him only suggest that Sowore is proving to be a failed and pained politician that he is.

His tactics is that every enemy of state or anyone who disagrees with the Nigerian government suddenly becomes his friend.

He seem to be over-using the influence of protest in recent times. Nigerians are serious minded people, busy with the harsh effect of the needed reforms already. We can't continue to add protests to our retinue of problems.

Sowore, commot there!

It is because some of you believe that we take positions because we are paid or because we want to get paid. It is self-indictment on many of you because you expose that you want to get paid for political leanings. You must understand that many of us are gainfully employed and sometimes earn outside the naira. We also do consulting jobs for large international organizations that require high technical skills.

Writing on Nairaland is a hobby. Our positions are driven by our commitment to the positions we take. Unfortunately, millenial idiots make spurious assumptions that expose the rot in their thinking.

Many of you claiming we are paid have not come up with evidence to back up your lies. Instead of asking us to give you links to useless political gigs that diminish you (links which we do not have), why don't you ask for help to do something meaningful? Like links to international scholarships, fees to do a life-changing training, links to jobs you can apply for, letters of recommendations to companies or even a business idea we can contribute to?

No, you have no priorities beyond making useless assumptions.

Justice for Uncle Dele! The protest should also include a demand for total rehabilitation of Nigeria’s judiciary and electoral system. Ghana is conducting their presidential election tomorrow. Eyeneck should go there and see how an election is conducted.

Uncle Sowore, why can’t we demand that a no-nonsense electoral commission (like the Japanese one) be allowed to conduct our 2027 election in order to practically educate our local criminals known as Eyeneck?

This will allow Nigerians to witness what is called election because apart from the independence election of 1960 and the June 12, 1993 election, we Nigerians have never actually witnessed an election before.
