That 460,000 USD forfeiture was for a backlog of unpaid taxes due to the fact that Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria and hence worked his way as an oil and gas industry technocrat right up to Senior Management level and retired as the Treasurer of Mobil Nigeria (now ExxonMobil).

The legitimate balance of 1.6 million USD in his bank accounts was returned to Bola Tinubu's U.S. bank accounts by the U.S. government in 1993 after the 460,000 USD deductions had been made. A significant number of that money was got from financial market investments. I actually followed that U.S. court case back in 1993, so, the case wasn't a drug forfeiture or a plea-bargain. You have to file your taxes as-and-when-due. The United States of America doesn't spare drug barons. If Tinubu was a drug baron, the very ruthless U.S. judicial system would have kicked him right into jail. Ever since 1993, Bola Tinubu has traveled multiple times yearly to the United States including when he was on exile in Chicago during the brutal military dictatorship and he was the one that was instrumental in giving accomodations to many exiles who were on the list of those to be assassinated by that CRIMINAL military dictator who stole over 4 billion USD into foreign offshore accounts via the Central Bank of Nigeria back in the 1990s till he fortunately died abruptly.

Even in 2001, the Legal Department of the United States Embassy in Lagos clearly stated in a Press Release that the then Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu had NO criminal case in the United States. So, all the recycled stories being pushed about the man online and offline were FAKE stories.

Now my bias mind. If truly Tinubu owns the money forfeited legitimately and the court claimed to draw such huge amount from his account. Why didn't he pursue the case and and get back his money. His refusal to pursue the case means in all material sense that the money was truly an illegal one.

I give you 3 days to do this and afterwards I label you assistant devil and an arch liar, if you refused to show up the court paper that said it was tax deduction.
