This is not the best Tinubu could have gotten form his detestable romance with Macron's France.

Why give you old outdated 2nd generation Alpha Jets when they could have given you a more recent 4th generation Rafale multirole jets or at least block E/F Mirage jets, modern air defense systems or even a Fridgate for that matter.

And to think that Nigeria is going for Alpha Jets when she should have been going for more capable jets for power projection and national defence.

Though Alpha Jets is a good jet and has served well in the Nigeria airforce before but we need to advance now beyond that level to more potent machines.

If some African countries can operate modern 4th generation jets why not Nigeria.
We need any of Rafale, Su 30s, more JF 17s, J10s or even F15/16 jets.

Let's stop celebrating costly mediocre outdated handouts.

The question you asked if we are cursed is rhetorical chief, I'm guessing you are the one cursed. Some of you will just come here and give stupid analysis with no verifiable data to back it up. Teacher Isonu.

Infotubia9ja:
For those of us praising the effort of our dear president please before we start giving accolade let us educate ourself on things we don't know.

1, do we know what a Pre-owned jet means if not let me break it down for you. It is something that has been used and used and used over and over again and has passed different hands and if we put this in perspective, this jet was developed mostly by German and Russian technology used by their military for years and years then pass down to the France government which was in turn used for so many countless missions before it was passed to Nigeria.

2 the hardware's used on that jet is old technology and I am telling you boldly that we will never have 100% full control capabilities because any of those previous government can take hold of the jet in air anytime during power or war confrontation. These assets our president and cabinet acquired are not what Nigeria need at this time because our government and Tinubu just put us back 20 years in technological defence technology and war capabilities.

3, our president will come out tomorrow and say he spent billions to acquire the latest jet defence system in public TV which is very not true.
In today's world that jet will be compared to as a 1998 Mercedes Benz to a 2024 Mercedes Benz in a lame mans term.

As of today, we have hypersonic ballistic jet that can revolve around the world i.e start from one point and return to that same point in less than 5hrs.
Our government keep investing in old technologies and this is one thing that is pulling us back. In today's world, where unmanned supersonic jet are used for military confrontation where no pilot lives are lost. That jet out president went to get from France will cost us more to maintain and operate that what we purchased it for in the future.

France of today is rampage because the country no longer believe in the government and that is who our president went to go buy a dead jet from.
My question is are we cursed or what?
And we Nigerians why do we let people who don't know their left from right rule us?

Do you know that the money and the resources we will be paying to france for that jet would have been more equivalent to buy a new one from LOCKHEAD. But our corrupt and stingy ego will always put us back.

Na dead on arrival progress be this. That jet can not fly around Nigeria 20 times without crashing. Wasted effort and resources.

We need true visionaries as leaders and not what we have now.

Like North Korea like Nigeria... buying weapons of war while masses are hungry, starving and at the mercy of state sponsored terrorists who destroy farmlands and kill farmers. One already knows for which these weapons were bought. They'll eventually fail though and the evil contraption disintegrated.

Check the date when alpha jets were developed and put into service, check how long these particular ones have been used by the French, check the exorbitant cost of their purchase before you start masturbating

Could have been. Or he could have bought nuclear energy so we may have light as they got loads to sell. But to buy that he'd need to send our scientists to France to learn how to switch the light on.

Below is data for France light.

Because Tucano jets have a limited coverage area, because America told them where to operate them. They decided to go to Europe and buy jets they can deploy anywhere in NIGERIA.

Their focal point is SE and the Yoruba Press is itching to give support. All IGBOs must see this coming and work towards stopping it
Already they've started using some of their old jets to bomb houses in the SE. It's under Tinubu that jets were first used to bomb houses in Igboland. We have it on record already.
Of course, those jets will be tamed. The death Yorubas are bringing to Igboland will be returned to their land with the focus more on those who participated and encouraged the attacks. We are gathering records.

Alpha Jets are good jets that can be easily localy upgraded....

good idea....
naf was capable to adjust them very fast to fight boko haram back then with the help of innoson....
How many BH did they kill?....how many civilians did they kill? What is the cost of the jets? A country that can't finance its own budget is buying jets.... because the slave master told him to.

France is the cause of many problems in west africa there is a reason all francophone countries have chased them out.

We need to operate with these foreigners with utmost caution. White people hate Nigeria.

I am sorry if you feel offended by my honest opinion towards this topic that interest me and I gave my own honest opinion and you feel okay to present your response this way.

Now let me give you my response for your comment.

You see as a human, what will make you more define and different from others, is when you are able to question every aspect of life surrounding you both physical and spiritual and only in that moment, will you find your balance and true purpose in life and that include questioning your actions, your environment and how it affects you. And that include asking your self questions like.

1, am I cursed or am I mad or am I physically capable to do this or mentally capable, or also questioning yourself like can I do it or I can't do it. Or should I do it or should I not, etc.
I hope you get the point now. It all depends on how you receive the message I am trying to pass and in this point, I guess you processed it the wrong way as you did.

Also if you read the topic well as posted which is said to be defined and true the word PRE-OWNED... Go do more research and see what it means and apply it to that said fighter jet just purchased and then you will understand my analysis.

Also I will advice you to is go on Google or YouTube and lookup and example let's start with LOCK HEAD MARTIN. See what they do and check out the price of a new customized hyper ballistic fighters jet the latest models and see how much they cost and then come back, bdo your analysis on how much out president and other cabinet members who decided to go buy a death trap. Watch the money and other agreement attached such as mineral deposits we will be giving out to grace for that old dead jet spent on buying it. Do the comparisons to the new one and tell me the difference.

You need to question some actions sometimes that our leaders take because it is the same thing over and over.

Or do you want me to keep going on?

Most of us are here praising the government for bringing the old refinery to life instead of you all to question them why because it is rubbish.
We need to start by telling them stop with the old and in with the new.

Think over that okay.
No hard feelings and no insults we all humans in respective of our age be human

Or don't you know the government are the once to benefit from this or do you want me to break it further?
