The french are really a very greedy lots what kind of infrastructure did they really build in those african countries to make them create such oppressive financial systems to exploit those sovereign countries forever? I blame those french speaking african countries for being too docile and extremely foolish no white country in this world will ever accept to be part of such inhuman conditions. |

Impoverished? As in how bros? Compared to Nigeria? I will state some facts for you using CEMAC zone and Cameroon as an example. 1. Electricity They have far better electricity than Nigeria, even in rural areas there is 24hr electricity. I am not capping. There is no job like generator repairer cuz generator na bad market for there. 2.Health There is a universal health coverage for every citizen. Tuberculosis, HIV meds are 100% free, malaria and typhoid drugs are subsidised by the government. 3. Food security There are state own companies involved in food production for the population and the food produced is banned from export to other non CEMAC countries. SEMAGRI for rice, Sodecoton for cotton, CDC/PAMOL/ SOCAPALM for palm oil, bananas, plantains, rubber, MAISCAM for corn, SOSUCAM for sugarcane, SODEBLE for wheat etc there are others for Yams, beans, cocoyams, coffee and even cocoa. These are state owned companies where workers are paid salaries to farm on behalf of the state for local consumption. 4. Education Primary school is free. University undergraduate is 50,000 xaf/125,000 naira. 5. Transport National Airline CAMAIR and national railway company CAMRAIL criss-crosses all over the national territory at subsidised rates. 6. Hydrocarbons A national refinery SONARA and Logbaba gas plant. 7. Corruption There are atleast 40 ministers and heads of state owned companies including those above mentioned who are in jail for embezzlement serving sentences ranging from 25-104 years. 8. Business When you open a new business or enterprise, you are given a 2 year exoneration from all taxes before you start paying. 9. Unity Despite being bilingual and having more than 240 tribes in a unitary centralised system of government, the national cake is going round as no one tribe can claim to be marginalised as they are all represented in the government. 10. Governance I know someone will ask how does someone stay in power for 42years+. Every african country must embrace democracy in its own way. In the CEMAC zone, no President has ever won an election without being the incumbent. Touadera in CAR was placed by the French, in Gabon Olingui is a cousin to Bongo, Deby took over from his father in Chad, Nguema in Eq. Guinea killed his uncle to take power, Ahidjo handed over power to Biya in Cameroon. Cameroon has known only 2 presidents since independence in 1960. Elections in Cameroon is a national festival, nobody even the opposition wants Biya gone. I will illustrate for you. In a country of 28 million people, there are more than 370 political parties with tribalistic origins, I doubt even 9ja at 200 million+ has that number of political parties. The reason here is simple, this is where Cameroon is unique in its special democracy, the government gives funds to political parties at every election season like take this money and come and compete with me and win me at my own game. Last presidential election season it was I think between 50-80 million per party. So election season na owambe for there, share the cake make e reach everybody. As long as Biya keeps the cost of living as low as possible and subsidises education, transport, health, food, fertiliser and fuel. Cameroonians will allow him die in power. Now compare my 10 points with Nigeria we hail thee and tell me if the common man on the street will vote for a Tpain or for an untested president every 4 years or rather for a known quantity and steady hand like Biya to continue till death. yahyus:Don't you know Nigeria is the property of the British government? We have been lied to for ages. At least the French do theirs openly for everyone to see but the British do theirs stealthily. The white man never really left Africa. They only changed their method of control. |

Nahunger:Did anyone put a gun to your head and force you to marry a Nigerian girl? Why frothing from your mouth everyday like a rabid dog? If e reach your turn to marry look for a girl that can sponsor the wedding with no milage. This your mental condition is becoming irritating. Who put the milage there? No be men? Ogbeni go and rest. Your ranting is obsolete. |

RepoMan007:Yes, we can process them ourselves. There are a lot of illegal mining operations going on that are operated by Nigerians who have developed means to mine and refine these resources. Don’t be fooled that we can’t mine/process these items ourselves. Yes just because they were our colonial masters doesn’t mean they can’t own plants, but try ask yourself why these foreign mining/oil exploration companies are the biggest representation these colonial countries still have in our land. They use them to neocolonize Africa. Francophone countries in Africa are revolting because the time is up for France. France’s neocolonialist agenda is very evident and well documented in Francophone African countries |
