Not making any excuse for the silly couple but a huge percentage of immigrants here particularly those who are still struggling to settle down barely have comfort. Exactly my thoughts. I feel this is being ignored because of their race. Both individuals are clearly suffering from mental health issues and the system failed them. They should have been detained at some point for psychiatric assessments. Unfortunately, instead of receiving the help they need, they are being criminalized on top of underlying insanity.
