1.have ur return ticket (they now checking that)
2.ur husband detail..student permit,copy passport nd wedding cert
3. Address where u will stay
4 .fund with you
5.ability to explain ur main purpose is to visit ur husband a student nd you have no intention to stay behind becos ur visa is strictly for visit purposes and returning back home to ur work nd life.

You need to be approved first before submitting passport,probably ur case is closed,what is why i said if you use agent you better request for gcms note

Yes, you can walkin for passport submission but you register ur account today on nairaland and share passport request story but can you please share ur timeline...when did you applied so other can know the current estimated time .thank u

You can do a walk in, don't listen to those guys that direct you the DHL office, for those in Lagos. Go directly to the VAC.

Everywhere is cold because the current Canada visa denial rate is extremely high. Most people getting visas recently are those with a U.S. visa, significant travel history, or family in Canada. However, other categories, including students, are being refused in large numbers. This is not a time to gamble with a Canada visa application!

Good morning all, Please did anybody's date update change to yesterday's date, but no mail was received, and there was no change of status on the application just the update date changed. I hope this means they are working on the application and it is not a case of a ghost update

Bro,that just a ghost update and probably a respond coming soon but you need to calm down. This is your second application for a visit visa after a previous refusal, and IRCC doesn’t easily grant visit visas again. Please have a second backup plan so IRCC doesn’t surprise you. Wish you good luck!

Thank you so much, i am calm and extremely patient, if not person fit get heart attack on top visa matter. Thanks all the same we can only pray it all ends in praise after a very long wait.

Nov 2023 , and i have applied for a GCMS note and it says the same thing application in process. Only got what looks like a ghost update yesterday and that is it no email or application update.

But i am patiently waiting and praying

I guess you applied from outside Nigeria, right? If so, I learnt that it takes up to 13months.. so it’s quite possible your good news is near.👍🏽
