kaltonga:As long as Lagos is yoruba land every single yoruba by birth can claim it. For the lazy part I believe it is also their lazy legislators that also developed very good policies which is attractive investment. Pls tell your hardworking jack Amaka family members to also design policies that bring investments if it truly it is easy otherwise pack your load and leave Lagos |

I hate reading stories from Nigerian journalists because the information is always confusing. Is this income tax or company tax? Because they are different. Income tax goes to the state, company tax goes to the federal. The story says income tax. |

Donake:Leave them to their foolery, ignorant kids. Small scale businesses are the backbone of every nation all over the world not one or two big corporations like these kids think. No country jokes with small scale businesses and their owners because they are the engine rooms running any nation, that is why developed countries pump billions and trillions of dollars to small and medium scale businesses to keep them afloat. Even after covid-19, developed countries gave out billions of cash reliefs and palliatives to small scale businesses to ensure they didn't fold up or close shop and fire their one or two workers which makes up the majority of every nation's workforce. But out of hatred, politics of tribal-religious stupidity, tribalism and foolishness, these Yoröba kids think otherwise and instead hate on Igbos who make up the majority of small and medium scale business owners in Nigeria to the extent they mock them at every given instance without knowing that they are the engine running Nigeria and keeping Nigeria afloat despite massive leadership corruption and decay at Nigeria's Federal and state government levels. |

Hussein035:My friend stay your lane, work hard to develope Ekiti, Osun Ondo and co, then we I'll know how hard working yourr Soo called legislators are .. You sree taking advantage of the former capital status of Lagos to be chest besting over what you never achieved. The development of Osun and Ekiti should bee a testimony to your hard work and not Lagos that was jointly developed by both the FG and other tribes due to its former status. Come to think of it, w never see or heard GWWARIES OR GYGI OR HAUSAS BRAG ABOUT ABUJA you know why ? Cos they are not lazy and aass visionlesss as you Yorubas who will not work but parasite on other people's success and claim it's yours that's how you lazy folks roll. Your Ekiti were you came from is a slum, ame as Osun same as Osun and co yet you have the audacity to open your big mouth shamelessly |

Dogalmighty17:most manufacturing businesses don't even have their factories in LAGOS, all they do is have their headquarter there. This tax reform will create a huge problem for everyone. Apart from Dangote refinery, I don't think any of his factories is in Lagos. Let's watch and see as the drama unfolds. I'm in full support of the Northern leaders in their agitation. |

victorVIC1:Nigerians are the most taxed in the world. Don't be fooled by what they are telling you. Aside the personal income tax we pay ourselves, every commodity you buy in Nigeria, registered under NAFDAC and SON has a VAT attached to it. |

Donake:don't mind the dude. He knows nothing. He thinks the revenue govt makes form traders is just the shop taxes. There are indirect taxes traders pay. If 10,000 containers berth at the Lagos port, and let's say each container cost 2m to clear. Multiply this and see what the govt will likely make from the traders. If some of these containers contain cars, for u a buyer to utilise the car, the person must do all registration and pay all levies. |
