Everyday tax this, IGR that yet it’s only GTB that came from your side while Igbos have 3. Shameless people. |

On top of that, they still control the informal sector yet you Yorubas with nothing keep making noise about tax and IGR when it is Igbos and northerners that generate the most. Apart from rusted roof and shiting in nylon bags, what are you guys contributing?? |

Mandate1:Every vehicle that arrives into any Lagos port is levied before it leaves the port by Lagos state government. It does not matter if it would be driven or sold in kafanchag By the way, on the low average, the cost to clear one 40ft container is about #10M. Multiply by 10,000 containers is #100B. |

kedeojo:Some times the evidence of poor education is easily displayed in public. So you need to be told when you sum these top ten highest payers, they maybe have contributed less than 5% of total tax the govt got? Do you mind equally checking who owns some of the companies listed apart from Dangote? Continue to trivialise people developing your village while you lazy around |

Great100000:Where is Atikuthief companies in the list, none because he took the money and invest in Dubai and where is PandoraObi beer company, probably hiding income in his Pandora box and hence not paying taxes and these are the ones that wants to rule Nigeria. No tangible investment in the country and their families are not even in Nigeria. |

aribisala0:you are proud and have empty head. You don't know that oil companies share their profit directly with the FG in a ratio of 60:40 and that beside vat, oil companies pay 3% to host community, and other percentages to NDDC and contribute to funding of some government bodies. From your proud empty head, tell us what you know |

Skydivine:this is why I blame the northern leaders over the years who think they are doing Igbos. Now it's clear they did themselves. From 1966-date, they held power 2x more than any other region combined. What did they do other than building LAGOS and starving the East of meaningful devt. How on earth will a country as big as Nigeria have its only port to the world in Lagos, despite the TAT it takes to clear goods in Lagos. The only major infrastructure they can give the East since 1970 is the second Naija Bridge. Tinubu should continue, make everybody ẹyẹ clear. |

| Re: Tax Reform Bills: 10 Largest Taxpayers In 2024 by Kamosh: 4:42am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Oga you need to educate yourself about Nigeria tax system, state don't collect company income tax federal government does, state only PAYE and it will be for the company staff that resides in Lagos for example Dangote company income tax will be collected by the federal government and if Dangote has 100 staff, 50 in Lagos, 30 in Kano and the remaining 20 in Abia, it is only the 50 staff PAYE that is due to Lagos while Kano and Abia will collect the rest The main problem is that almost all the companies listed there have their branches across all states in Nigeria. So they make their money from these states but that profit is tallied at the headquarters in Lagos. Meaning In theory that a company in Lagos is making the profit and then the taxes are collected by Lagos government. How is this right?[/quote] |

press9jatv:How? So Dangote cement having all plants outside Lagos…. But with a HQ in Lagos for corporate image means that it’s based in Lagos? Sepat has no oil operations in Lagos.. only corporate office. 95% of its income comes from Niger Delta. |
