When this Tax Reform Bill debate began, and I told Nigerians that the largest individual contributor to the VAT pool was the Dangote Group of Companies, I was attacked and savaged by many Southern Nigerians. But now, it has been confirmed by empirical data. When you combine the VAT contributions of the various Dangote businesses, they total more than what MTN remits to the FIRS.

I hope those who came after me and called me names can now apologise.

We have a country to run and must stop seeing each other from the prism of North and South. For President Tinubu to succeed, it is essential that we do not ethnicise the tax reform debate. There is a win-win solution. The focus should be on achieving that, not name calling and sabre rustling.

He already has a job. Can't you see? Reno can't be doing all these for free. Someone somewhere is surely bankrolling him. He used to be pro-igbo, now he's pro-yoruba, tomorrow an influential northerner may start bankrolling him and fiam he becomes pro-Hausa/Fulani. Personally I don't see Reno as a genuine influencer; the guy is just a professional praise singer and I'm sure he's earning good for doing it. I can only laugh at those wasting their time everyday to tackle Reno on social media, except they're also paid for doing it.

A quick check on all the comments above will more than prove this fact. "Tinubu should give him a job, this man has no job, where is Reno's brother, FFK, Reno the useless muslim man" and many more, are just what they keep typing on the thread. None can counter him, not even one. They keep disturbing us with "intellectual argument". How can a dunce engage in intellectual discuss? One below said, Reno omonkey, the wife beater. To him, that is intellectual argument.

Basically, Igbos are paying 402.9k out of 614.7k

So in spite of Dangote's dominance, Igbos are paying much more into the coffers of Nigeria that Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba companies put together, Dangote included.

Imagine if Dangote's companies are not there, how ridiculously Igbo companies will be dominating this chart. Igbos are even dominating the chart with Dangote's companies still there.

This Reno boy is insane. VAT is paid by consumers and not by corporations hence there is absolutely no reason to measure the combined VAT collected from corporate income tax.
