nateevs:Yes oh I’m even thinking he may be the greatest yet, because when Mourinho first came to SW London, we were runners up in the previous season. This time, Maresca came in after we had finished 7th last season, and he is managing players who are overall below the quality of players from 20 years ago. |

popizaino:No you weren't. OGs are aware. It was not pretty arguing against a very successful manager. One that brought trophies. It was difficult. I disagreed vehemently with his ultra defensive approach. I am an ultra-attack minded fan. Student of Rinus Michels, the whole concept of total football, it's evolution over time, and a massive fan of the Dutch NTs of yore. |

drisham:Why is it unpopular? Palmer is better than those waste men they parade as wingers like Savinho Doku Grealish You can't lose Mahrez and now let Palmer go especially when the core guys are getting older |

I never wanted Sancho NOT because I don't like him as a bad player, but because I see him as a luxury signing. Out squad was already bloated. We have got Neto. We are looking how to trim the squad down so I don't see a need for Sancho. But as a Chelsea fan, anybody that dons the Blue jersey gets my support instantly. I am humble enough to admit that Sancho is an improvement to the team. I am NOT like you who is not a Chelsea fan, rather players fan. Select who to support and who to hate. If there is a way to sign Sancho permanently, I am all for it. Sorry to disappoint you, I don't hate Sancho. I support him. Go to the nearest transformer and hug it tightly. |

nateevs:I still have my reservations about this, though, because you had a soft spot for Tuchel, who was boring us to death with his passive football. That's by the way, good you are anti-JM though at least we got something in common. Whiles you were the lone voice online,i was also doing my offline. |

Unlimited22:D pace at which we are going,,if we don't win d league we should finish second at least otherwise if we slip out from 2nd we may not finish in top4,,it will be similar to wat city are going thru RN.... So we just have to aim very high so we don't drop badly |

Spurs 3rd goal is one of the reason we are not going anywhere with this backline. |

I hope nkuku is watching Enzo, this is how you enter the first team not that rubbish he was doing against Southampton. Give the coach a reason to start you ahead of Jackson. It is actually possible |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 9:20pm On Dec 08, 2024 |
popizaino:You misunderstood my reasoning of Tuchel. Tuchel is dynamic. I am a big 3-4-3 fan, love of attacking FBs, WBs, anything that contributes to the attacking phase of the game. Tuchel brought all these. Yes, the football went south a little bit, but it's not to say we didn't become a serious attacking side under him when he arrived. And he did that without buying a single new player. When he had to go into the market, it turned out he was a poor transfer/talent identification manager, and his choices in the market ruined his dynamism. We also need to mention crucially, the coincidence of long-term injuries to James and Chilwell, both who were critical to the success of his set up. I don't class Tuchel as a defensive manager. |
