Please do you need the following to lay tiles?

Tiles gum 50 bag
White cement 5kg 7 bag
Genesis 15 pieces
70 bag of cement
20 tones of sand

Got two quotes. One tiler didn’t include gum and genesis.

It’s most likely wall tiles are involved and there are bigger size tiles.
For the genesis, you will definitely see where they would be installed. So no wayo for that one.
Secondly, the quantity of cement is in agreement with the quantity of sand . I would assume you have about 250 square meters to work on.

1.How much is the Ideal price should a builder charge for a 4bedrom bungalow to lintel level?

2.What's the cost of iron rod and plank needed for the lintel? Location is Abeokuta. A price range will be helpful to haggle with those vendors.
3. For a standard 4bedroom bungalow, what is the range of total blocks that would be needed?
4. What's the ideal price the welder can charge as workmanship?

All these information, if given, will assist me to negotiate better with the builder.

1. Building a twin (I.e. 2 units of) 3 bedroom bungalow on a 1 plot of land with a flat roof for relaxation and mounting of solar panels, or

2. Building a one-storey building of 3 bedroom apartments each (on the ground and top floor), with a flat roof for relaxation and mounting of solar panels.

I tend to favour number 2 because of the extra space that will remain from the 1 plot after the whole project, but I am also sensitive to cost.

Please, what do you advise

* The cost and availability of vacant plots at the said location, the more expensive and scarce plots are at the location, the more a storey building makes more economic sense.

* Availability of funds - to deck a standard 3 bedroom flat should cost like 7M naira , i recently decked a double 3 bedroom apartment for a little over 14M
