What a coward!
Gaddafi said Libya is my home and I don't have another home to run for exile.
I rather die here and be buried in Libya.
God bless the memories of Gaddafi.
This is not over yet for Assad.
Assad and all his jihadist judge's in the Syria court must face charge's of crime against humanity.
Assad killed and executed, minor's, women, and old people when the uprising started in 2011.
Hundreds of people were executed on a daily basis in the SEDNAYA prison in Syria without trial.
Thousands including children were detained for year's without trial.

Wicked coward.

Many are commenting without even knowing background of this Syrian wahala.
Assad was supported by Shiite Militias;Iran,Hezbollah and the group from Iraq.
The reason why Assad fell was as a result of Hezbollah fighting Israel and most of its weapons were destroyed and good number of Hezbollah fighters Eliminated.

I have also learnt never put your whole trust in foreign Countries cause those countries are interested in their own selfish desires(gold, oil, uranium) and they can never give you the best weapons but just small

You can't fight who created you and remain firm, Assad Shi'ite ideology is more of Zionist than Islamist, nothing like Islam about him.

Be realistic my friend. Even ISIS has never used chemical weapons. Al-Qaeda hasn't used war planes to kill women and children.
The Assad regime has caused more sorrows than any terror group in Syria. Assad is a tyrant who clinches to power at the cost of his subjects. Man is so power hungry he rather ruled a warzone than let the nation thrive.
HTS has successfully brought Syrians together under a common ideology that supercedes Islamic jihad and ethnic diversity.

this kind of revolution will be good in Nigeria but unfortunately any day we successfully rebel against government in Nigeria is the day Nigeria will break up so much ethnic and religious division everywhere.
There is no guarantee Syria will be prosperous from now on,the new leaders may just see an opportunity to enrich themselves .Hope they won't start power tuzzle within themselves just like in Libya.

He knows nothing about onions or Syria and Assad.

He returned to Damascus last week after a desperate personal plea to Putin for continuing support failed and fled only on Saturday, just before Damascus fell to the rebels.

If he has any credible source for his story, he should share it.

Syria war updates: Opposition takes Damascus, al-Assad flees

7 Dec 2024

* Syria’s armed opposition forces say President Bashar al-Assad’s 24-year rule has come to an end after they seized the capital, Damascus.

* Russia says al-Assad has left Syria and ordered a peaceful transition of power to take place. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Should I call Assad a coward for running away
Do you know what Assad faced for 13 years? All the forces that fought Assad, if 1/4 of them faced Zelensky, he won't last 6 months fighting.

I don't know what the end game is, but I'm sure Putin want to focus on Ukraine now, then they alongside Iran can use the Houthi method in Yemen to hold Syria down. It's a coalition of rebels taking power. They can't work together. When the chips are down, the shiite in Syria, Hezbollah, Iran, Russia, etc would return.

In few years from now, we'd realize that the only protector of Christians in middle east, Assad, has been taken out and the end of Syria is here to pave way for a greater Israel.

They'll come back to miss Assad.

Russia was lured into that war to give up Syria like this - it's occupied and can't be fighting on 2 fronts.

Israel needed Syria out to cut supply line used by Iran to arm Hezbollah, since they seem to have thrown Hezbollah into confusion, so it's the best time to act. Israel is good at its game.

Zelensky is also fighting against his own People, the Russian-speaking Ukrainians in Dombas (Donetsk and Lughask), and three other regions that did Referendum to join Russian Federation.
These are "his People" that he has been using Military Hardware to kill, since 2014 Maidan Violent Coup that toppled Yanukovich, who was from that region (Donbass).

Russia/Putin is just coming to the aid of its oppressed People living within the Borders of Ukraine.

Infact, this current event reminds me of the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in Iraq and Muarmar Ghadaffi in Libya.
Those Citizens who were rejoicing them, are mostly either Terrorists now or Refugees in the same Countries that caused their problem and they still refuse to even accept most of them as refugees.

Israel has already, (probably killed the Syrian Border Guards) broken down the massive gate separating Israeli side of the Golan Heights, from the Syrian Side and entered Syrian territory, claiming that the Syrians "abandoned their Post"!

Even if they abandoned their Border Post, is it an excuse to annex their Land and seize the Golan height, against an agreement that had been in place since 1972?? angry angry

This is to tell us that all these was Pre-Planned by US and Israel, with help from that "Reno O'Mockery-like figure", called Erdogan (Turkey.

The ultimate Goal is for Israel to expand its Territory by seizing Syrian, Lebanese and Palestinian lands, with help of American Weapons and Spatial Intelligence.
Finally, it is all in preparation to attack Iran.
But Iran grows stronger by the day
(it launched another Satellite into Space, on Saturday, which can be used for looking down on Enemy-territory, the way the Americans, Russians, Israelis and other World Powers are able to do).

The "race" Israel is running now, is to invade Iran with American Military, before Iran launches its Nuclear Weapon and become a Nuclear Power like North Korea or Israel and then becomes untouchable. grin grin

This, l have seen and know it will come to pass.

That was the Playbook the British used, when they handed over Power to the North, at Nigeria's Independence, it is a sure recipe for an unstable Country, which the Colonialist can then keep propping-up and controlling.

You get am. The country will already be weak and awkward from the beginning, so less stress for them to manage.

That’s just how they used to do.

You really think North Korean Leader or Assad or Putin are bad leaders?
Putin and his Russia, are always taking-sides with the OPPRESSED, just like they assisted many African Nations in the 50's and 60's, to gain Independence from the Europeans and Americans.
The real, Bad Leaders are those who impose SANCTIONS on Countries like Venezuela, Cuba, Peru, North Korea, Iran, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, etc, to destroy their Economy and keep them Poor.

Right now, everyone is currently saying "Syrians will benefit from the removal of Assad and Syrians should be allowed to determine their own future".
I am sure you will agree with that.

But what is the Reality?
The first beneficiary of Assad's fall, is Israel! As of this morning, it has annexed the Syrian Part of the Golan Heights. grin
This part was Syria's own, since a 1972 UN brokered Agreement.

Do you remember the fall of Saddam Hussein?
Just like in Assad's Syria, the people rejoiced but up till today, the Country is in turmoil and has since not recovered.

Again, do you remember the fall of Muamar Gadhafi?
Just like Assad'd Syria, the people rejoiced but we all know what Libya has become, since Ghadfi was toppled....... the Headquarters of Terrorists.
A once, Richest African Country that guarantees full employment for all graduates or payment of a "Full Graduate Salary" until Work is secured, free Education, free Housing and $10,000 for any Newly married Couple ....... has become so bad that its Citizens, the same ones who were rejoicing when Ghaddafi was toppled, have become unwanted Refugees in Europe! grin

"Be careful what you wish for, because you just might have it", as they say.

But even more scary, is that Turkey's Erdogan, Israel and American CIA all conspired to Arm the second-in-Command of Al Quaeda, who later became leader of Jabhat Al Nusra, and later changed their Name to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a Terrorist Organisation on the EU Terrorist list, their Head has a bounty of $10,000 on his Head from the American Govt, as a Wanted Terrorist, is the leader of this combination that ousted Assad and will now lead Syria.

My own is that "i dont want to hear PIM from anyone", when ISIS resurges and starts attacking other Nations.
