Kimbeast:I knew he had the potential in him and they should have known it too. If Palmer was your club’s academy player and you saw the club sell him off without giving him a proper chance you would have been angry. That level of talent has to be given a chance by the club. The sale didnt make sense when it happened. The only thing I will say is that Bobb and Foden are more natural team and system players while Palmer is more individualistic. I think that is the reason Pep didn’t take to him. Mumu reason though. |

Realtord43:How the hell did he win MOTM. He was not even top 3. Caicedo, Enzo and Sancho had a better game. Lavia was also immense until he left. Apart from the penalties he had an average game. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Capaldi: 10:20am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Once again fu...ck Declan rice. Caicedo is two times the player he is. |

Arizoner:This swap deal is scary. Onana is terrible in actual goalkeeping but beast in ball playing Sanchez is terrible in ball playing but does well in goalkeeping than Onana |

Capaldi:Apart from the penalties u say? Remove those penalties and we don't win the game |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueMann: 10:23am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Best young player and best young attacker of the season For context, he scored six more goals, provided six more assists and created 4 more big chances than the winger who win player of the season and attacker of the season, all in over 400 less minutes

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Capaldi: 10:26am On Dec 09, 2024 |
StarchAndBanga:How does that change the fact that he had an average game. Anyone with functional eyes that watched that game yesterday knew Palmer was not MOTM. Caicedo, Enzo and Sancho were better. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueMann: 10:28am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Capaldi:Don't forget Enzo's goal came because of his individual brilliance, so he had a hand in three of the four goals. Also, I believe he created the most chances (4), had the most dribbles completed (4/5) and won the most duels (8/10). Personally I would've given it to Sancho or Enzo who were more consistent throughout. But Palmer is an ok choice. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Arizoner: 10:32am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Emaprince:That would be selfish of him. Football is not a one man show. Its eleven vs eleven not one vs eleven and had enzo not been on hand to shoot, that move was effort in futility |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Arizoner: 10:36am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Sportsweb:Not true. Onana is potentially good in both if he can improve. Sanchez is worse in all ramifications |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Capaldi: 10:43am On Dec 09, 2024 |
BlueMann:Enzo goal was all about Enzo. Palmer tried to shot and it was deflected/nicked . I don't know why he should be given credit for Enzo goal. He didn't create any clear cut chances as well. He was ok yesterday but definitely not MOTM. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Emaprince: 10:44am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Arizoner:If he didnt make the move, the ball wouldnt get to Enzo. Selfishness sometimes will help the team, especially when applied in the right moment. Not the madueke type of stupid selfishness. Selfishness is what got messy and Ronaldo their goal hauls. A brillant player knows when to be selfish and save the team via individual brilliance |

Cucurella has been much more impactful in the final third in recent games. The big chance created for Jackson against Leicester, the assist (unofficial) for Jackson against Villa, the big chance created for Noni against Soton, and he could've had two assists for Sancho yesterday. Speaking of yesterday, I admire his mentality; he shrugged off the fact that he gave away two goals and went on to have a very solid performance. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueMann: 10:47am On Dec 09, 2024 |
Capaldi:Not taking anything away from Enzo, that was a beautiful shot. But Palmer started the dribble from a harmless position and ended up in the box. In the end it was a lucky deflection that sent the ball Enzo's way, but Palmer earned that luck. |

Capaldi:Agreed He was average in the first half but he turned up in the second half , created chance Caicedo was immense all through the match and won a penalty .. personally would have given him But there nothing bad in giving MoTm to a player who had a hand in three goals |

Unlimited22:I'm sorry doc but these 2 you mentioned are not better than Jackson in any way The only one we should go for is Gyokores and if we can't land him I wouldn't mind isak Sesko and oshimen should stay away from my club please |

Enzo5:My focus has always been on the profile of the striker first. We need a box dominator. How many PL goals did Palmer have in his career before he came to us? The season before Sancho came, how many goals and assists did he have? It's well shaa Anybody wey them sign, we go support. |

Badiashile plays as a 5 and maresca deployed him as a 6 in an unnatural position beside colwill. And he struggled. Second half he reshuffled the back line and put him in his natural position |

Unlimited22:Palmer and sancho didnt get enough playing time like sesko to shine before coming to chelsea. So You are talking off point. |

Unlimited22:You tagged me to your post and i replied you based on series of arguments we had on attack and defence. I know your position, i know how you wrongly scolded the defence against Sheffield and we corrected you but you didn't agree. Unlimited22:My hammering on replacing Jackson and Sterling fell on your deaf ears because the major problem to you was the defence. I wouldn't be comfortable putting Sterling in my squad list when window was still opened for more than 3 weeks, like you did. You could have clamored for his sale to Saudi like i was doing since early 2023. Querying Sancho and Neto's contributions this season, compared to Sterling's last season only shows where you pitched your tent. Quoting a post where you said Sterling was hard to throw out, is not enough to erase the fact that you prefer Sterling to the new boys. The only thing is, you may not be like Timbros whose Anti-Chelsea status is legendary. Unlimited22: |
