Very useless leaders, reminds me of a certain leader who led his tribal people into a 3 years civil war unplanned. Led them to their deaths in millions, caused cannibalism amongst them only to leave them hanging by running away on asylum. As they face certain death and uncertain future. This Assad is even by far a better leader that the man I am talking about, cos Asad is fighting against Al Qaeda take over of his country. There was Jesus before Mohammed, Jesus did not give the name "Christianity", the name "Christian" was given by the people who felt that the disciples were behaving and acting like Christ, Christians could be translated into CHRIST-LIKE.

And yes the old law was FAULTY, read through the old testament and you'll see that the Israelites were also performing their own type of jihad, they were killing and occupying lands, they were forcing people to accept their own God(Elijah killed many prophets of baals just because they were serving a different god). Islam is still rooted in that old laws of conquest, they feel and want everyone to worship Allah, christianity rather give you a free will to choose who you want to serve(this is the new law that was brought by the birth of Christ).

The reason for a new law...
Just as your apps needs new updates so also does the laws, the fact that people were riding on donkeys but now riding on limousines and fly on jets is still the reason why laws need reviews. The old law didn't give room for forgiveness(islam is still stuck in this law), the new law preaches love and forgiveness, the new law believes that an evil being can become a saint tomorrow if given the opportunity but the old law wants you dead once you are evil.

But one thing I would like you to understand is the fact that God still had reasons to regret his own actions sometimes(genesis 6vs6), but for a supreme being who recovers from such regrets; he sent Jesus Christ so as to correct the initial defects.
