Thats not an inverter..they should call it what it is a solar power bank..pls don't use it to charge big wat stuffs again please.

So I bought a Cafini inverter that can be charged with solar panels and also AC power. It has radio, led light and 12V 5W bulbs(4 bulbs)
The panel is 18V 30W(1 panel).
The inverter output is 220V 150W.
The battery capacity is 12V 12AH Lead-acid battery.

I started using it by plugging my laptop(65W) to it. Within 40 minutes, it ran down from 100 to 0.
I unplugged the laptop and plugged my power bank to it. I also plugged one of its bulbs to it. It finally died after a little over 2hrs of it being on 0.

I charged it with AC power and plugged my OX fan(95W) to it alone. The fan was struggling on level 1 and was making sound, I had to disconnect it.

The seller said that’s the capacity of the battery and it is normal. If I wan’t it to last a longer duration, I should buy a external battery of a higher capacity.

Please with what I observed, is the draining normal? The battery percentage was draining by just switching on the inverter and not plugging anything to it.

Try plugging AC or water heater to it. It will strengthen the batter

Lead acid battery has a usable capacity of 50% or less. 12V 12Ah battery eqauals 144Wh, at 50% usable capacity then on 72Wh can be used; consequently, a load of 65W should run for about 1 hour. However, inverters have vampire losses (self consumption during DC-to-AC conversion), so 40 mins on laptop is close to ideal.

Power banks are Vampires. They will drain the hell out of your battery. Have you asked yourself why it takes days for Power bank to get full? Charging Laptop is less power consuming to Power bank.

It's normal when you put something that is almost half it's capacity such as 75w as in your case it can run down very very quickly unless it's being charged at the same time

Solar guys are thieves, i said it on this forum more than 5 called me and on WhatsApp insulting ne coz i bust their scheme. Why first didn’t he tell u that u need another battery?

How to raise millions for solar now is the challenge of next year.

I have used several portable inverters due to my job. Note: try as much as possible to stop using AC appliances on it. Use only DC and it will last. Portable inverters aren't that strong with AC outputs..

Get this set up and you are fine not that rubbish.

You can not use an OX fan on an inverter. Please get a DC fan. As for your laptop, I believe the “inverter” is working as intended. It’s just a 12AH battery after all.

U would have just bought 40watt battery, and 1 panel, dts the one I use, it's serving me. I spent 170000k excluding wires, pins and
workmanship!

How can u buy inverter without solar panel,its like running a car on 2litres and u expect ti to tale you for almost 20km.na beans. See if you buy solar panel ,forget ,. 200k keh. On top wetin. Dem don chop u 100k

220k got me one 200w solar panel, 3A charge controller, one 100Ah battery, and one 1,500w inverter last month. I rarely use grid. And it's serving me well day in day out. I live alone though so my loads are 1 laptop, two 5w bulbs, phones, subwoofer, 16in rechargeable fans, 32in LED TV and fridge(when voltage is between 13.6V-14.6V in the day)
