This s very commendable, for the first time we are getting this right. This is different from the old system that is analogue in nature and anyone can fix price the way they want. All abokis must have the same system as a operational requirements. |

nairalanda1:You have a good point. Please note that Tinubu tried to amend the tax structure just recently, but effort has been suspended by the Northern legislature and hierachy. "Mess in the mining sector", which mining sector? Or you referring to oil bunkery? If it's bunkery, he would step on the strongholds of the Nigerian military to clean up or stop it. It is actually complicated. |

People are remitting money for Christmas spending and a monkey from the back was shouting God bless tinubu I no understand Is it that the economy is responding to an economic improvement strategy or a 2 weeks seasonal remittance Nawaoo |

Nah lie be this one jare. A $to #1200 is even way too bad. The signs are not showing in everyday life of the people as prices of food and other commodities are out of the peoples reach. What's the price of a liter of fuel and a kg of gass? What of the prices of garri, beans, rice and co? Lie lie govt. Tueh! |

lilvicky68:The gain would come but it’s going to be a gradual one. Products on sale now were bought or manufactured on high Dollar rate and no seller would want to sell at a loss. If the rate remains for over 4 months, you can then start seeing the effect. |

If naira to dollar appreciate to 1200 this month petrol prices need to come down a little bit petrol should be 650 naira per litter |

SeverusSnape:Foreign exchange was being subsidized until Tinubu came in and removed FX subsidy. That na why naira went up from 700 to 1600 to a dollar. |
| Re: Naira May Hit ₦1,200 — Black Market Operators by Ijaya123: 11:15am On Dec 10, 2024 |
SeverusSnape:When the currency was N700, it was artificially fixed with about $1.5 billion per monthly and that wasn't the true value. Basically, what we were doing was to subside imports at the detriment of local manufacturers. That apparently isn’t sustainable. What you’re seeing now is the true value. Understood? |

Obaaderemi2:So how come our foreign debt is still in all times high despite saving money from subsidy?? Can’t you see you are how tribalism has clouded your brain?? So now we are not borrowing to defend naira and remove subsidy; where is the money saved??😁😂 |
| Re: Naira May Hit ₦1,200 — Black Market Operators by VeeVeeMyLuv(f): 11:18am On Dec 10, 2024 |
RapistOnBail:The subsidy was used to keep it at the then official rate of 450+ naira. So when the they removed it the official rate supposed to be same and remain at same level of 750+ But these guys took the rate to almost 2000 naira 😭 That has been the reason why there has been unprecedented hardship and suffering. The current rate supposed to be hovering around 700+ but for greedy and unpatriotic elements |

bizbro:I read/watched one Youtube vid where they said, insecurity is not just a Nigerian problem, but an African one. Why? It is funded by Western nations. Why? To get Africans to run away from certain areas. Those areas have mineral deposits. Western people come, mine the minerals, take and go without any obstruction. African governments know this and have been bribed. Thats my they behave like oyibo slaves, always begging money from West, travelling overseas and doing anything western nations tell them. This is why insecurity would likely never end in Africa/Nigeria. White men keep finding value in our land. We cannot find value in. They keep have machinery and economic processes to upgrade our minerals. But NON of our Nigerian industries or processes is working . |
