This guy is talking trash. The odds are stacked against Dele, if dem no beg Baba Afe the man will just end up in jail. One might not like what is happening but Dele goofed the moment he put that in his book, that right there is enough evidence to send him to sanko.
They are even planning more serious charges of disrepute against the Supreme Court of Nigeria and use that to out him from the Nigerian Bar so begging Baba is the right thing to do for now except Dele has hard evidence to prove his allegations to the very end.

What does he hope to achieve? Force Dele, who we know is like Fela Kuti in his struggle and willing to die in prison? Or ask Afe Babalola, who clearly wants to clear his name, to drop the case because Dele will keep hammering him...and another book will undoubtedly be published. Does Obi truly understand the gravity of the situation? Dele did not simply say it; he wrote it in a book. And he said he stands by it. So, how can someone who has stated that he is capable of becoming Nigeria's president fail to recognize the gravity of the situation and do the right thing?

Where is the evidence that Obi went to beg Afe babalola?
Let's even assume without conceding that Sowore assertions were true,what is wrong in doing that for Dele Farotimi?
Should Obi have allowed Dele to rot in jail?
Does Sowore know Dele's book implicates not just Afe babalola but other judicial elites who have dabbled into corrupt practices for many years and won't just keep quiet without a fight back?
Do U know how worried Dele's family is currently and how some of them may have pleaded with Obi to atleast ensure he is out of confinement?
The most important thing now is to do everything possible to safely secure Dele's release so that he can be with his family!

That's a lie and a big fat one!! Under the ACJA, bail is a right and the terms aren't too stringent that he farotimi can't meet,moreso he has the likes of obi as friends....it's not by visiting and taking pics....show how valuable your friendship is.

I don't understand how supposed schooled people prefer emotions and sentiments over civility. From whatever dimension you might look at it, the odds are against Farotimi and Chief Afe's terms were simple, "prove or recant". Seems some people didn't read the said defamation in the book. Those were too heavy without proof. You can't just wake one day and say grave things about someone without you giving evidences. It's even more annoying that it's coming from a lawyer. He didn't stop at that, he dragged the Supreme court into it. If Chief Afe let it slide, I'm sure the NJC won't, they're just watching.
