Yes, it makes an interesting read, and I won't be surprised if it is true.

However

1. Assuming it gets used in court....the palaver is that at the end, the attorney for Boni Haruna can deny he ever said such to the US diplomat, or that the US diplomat misinterpreted his comments, or that he does not recall or remember.

2. The US diplomat can refuse to speak, or even come to Nigeria.

3. It devolves into a he said, they said thing...which judges don't like

4.Was the case mentioned in Dele's book.?

it is unlikely that wikileaks cables are admissible in a court of law

i am wondering what dele's endgame in this is. he is an actual lawyer, not an illiterate internet noisemaker. he must know that any allegations must be accompanied with proof that is acceptable ion an actual law court, not the court of public opinion

this case is not about what is true, but what can be proven.

Invisible hand ko, theoretical hand ni. Was Afe Babalola not the lawyer to Federal Govt during Obasanjo administration? So I just laugh when some uninformed people try to link Tinubu to Farotimi's travail. Wetin concern Tinubu here? When you see this guy talk, you'll marvel at such audacity with confidence. This type of case should not be swept under the carpet. If the guy can provide concrete evidence when Afe Babalola bribed some of the judges in the judiciary, he should bring it out.
