Oluboh: Bello’s bold presidential bid showcased his significant political clout and his ambition to emerge as a national leader—a stance that deeply rattled Tinubu’s camp.with all the mans 'political clout' he could not stop natasha apoti ; he could not negotiate a deal with dangote cement. he achieved nothing but the wastage of kogi resources on a wild goose chase |

As long as they are all APC they can continue hunting themselves. Useless party with no brain for development. Everything dies in their hands. |

Oluboh:El Rufai was nominated as Tinubu minister, it's was a security report that kicked him out. Whilst I don't like Tinubu but your assertion about Tinubu - El Rufai make no sense. On Bello, he had ripped where he didn't sow. He became a Gov unexpectedly and I think that's enough. Let him work hard for his space. Besides, not the same Bello that was running away from accountabilities? |

Tinubu that was in opposition that still able to dethrone sitting president, in his party, he successfully defeated another president from his own party that refused to give him backing. Now that he has Almighty power to do and undo, you are writing jargon about his defeat. As I always saying, I will advise the political gladiators to save their energy till 2031, to form stumbling block for 3rd term bid. TINUBU WILL SOON GET RID OF YAKUBU AND PUT HIS OWN PARTY MAN FROM HIS VILLAGE. THE REST IS HISTORY, WHEN THEY GET TO HIGHEST COURT, HIS SISTER IS ALREADY THERE TO FINALISE THE JOB. |

Any discerning and critical reader would easily read between the lines that the Op. is only out to do the hatchet job of the "perceived" opposition. The way and manner that he glorified and exalted Yaya Bello is like the out-gone governor is a personality with an unblemished character which is far from the truth. It's often said that "he who comes to equity must come with clean hands". Both Bello and Rufai are men of questionable character and Nigerians know them better no matter how hard the Op. tries to burnish their images. Even though most Nigerians are disillusioned with the ongoing Tinubunomics of hardship, deprivation and misery, given our brand of politics, Tinubu's second term is as good as guaranteed! You can take that to the bank! @hotseat |

There is nothing like “Northern voting bloc”. BVAS and Peter Obi exposed the truth about the Northern electorate. First, the voting numbers have always been illogically inflated and second, the northern electorate is diverse and not monolithic. Also, when these power drunk or power hungry northerners speak of the North, they are most certainly referring to the North West and the Fulani caliphate. |

All the points raised are not in favour of the masses, I have never voted for APC but come 2027 T-pain will have my vote based on three major reasons 1. His ability to curtail Northern politicians excesses 2. Tax reform, if implemented 3. He's vindicated from my worries pro to last election Tinibu, El-Rufai, Yaya Bellow etc should fight themselves to finish. I don't care |

And you think they took FG to court for Tinubu's sake, please think politically. They took the action because of the naira they kept for inducements and life savings. The earlier you realised the duo are not loyal to Tinubu the better for you. The write up is sponsored by Bello. quote author=happiness32 post=133181289]Tinubu’s tactics is going to fail him. These are the men who stood by him during the elections, even taking the fg to court on Naira policy that was targeted against Tinubu. The north are known for playing smart politics. Hmmmmm2024:Naira re-designed and fail Buhari government actually affected him significantly, the only thing that gave him victory is splitting of PDP votes by ATIKU, OBI, and KWANKWASO. Nothing more and nothing less. In 2027, the insinuation that South must complete their 8 years in power after Buhari 8 years will play a key role. Medias, influential people and power brokers from south will also oppose Northern candidate. North too won't support another Southerner who may also want to spend another 8 years. Besides, Tinubu is someone who know how to use power to his advantage. Presidency power is not a child play in Nigeria politics, and by 2026, all the key players from the oppositions would be silently working for him. The masses are powerless in this situation because these people have families, friends, workers and associates they can conveniently influence to vote APC. They are the ones sharing money or buy votes during elections. This is what they called Political structure. I just hope there is turn around in his economic policy because voting him out will be so difficult and nearly impossible with the current political situation in Nigeria. |

Yes, negotiations are going on in the North and we are considering many angles and twists. For political balance, some of our leaders are arguing that we should support a consensus candidate from the South, and Peter Obi should be the candidate. El-Rufai, Kwankwanso and many others are of this view. However, there are those that are arguing that going with that option will further delay power returning to the North, hence, Atiku should be considered and allowed to serve one term since age won't be on his side, and then return power to the South. Then there are those who think the balance between the first option and the second option is Goodluck Jonathan. The constitutional amendment regarding term limits doesn't apply to Jonathan because the law doesn't work in arrears/reverse. It's tough, but if a southern candidate eventually emerges as the North's consensus candidate, El-Rufai, Zulum, Kwankwanso, and Bello (if he is not convicted) are the likely person to deputize the person. But it is insane and stupid to think this can stop Tinubu. He is building his own power bloc in the North, South East, and South South. I am certain that one way or the other, Northern votes will be suppressed while Southern votes (especially in South South and South West) will be highly inflated. Until then.... |
