Why Didn't FG Sack LASU Graduates Along With Benin & Togo Graduates? by CodeTemplar(op): 3:52pm On Dec 10, 2024*

DSS goes to LASU and do undercover investigation into degree racketeering. They discovered that LASU gives certificate for as low as N2m in six days. They also give good CGPA for a slighly higher price and dont hold back 2:1(second class upper).

A journalist goes to Benin and does almost the same thing in six months (24 weeks).

The FG punishes Togo and Benin schools by sacking people with degrees from their schools but turns a blind eye for LASU. That of LASU is weightier because it was exposed by DSS and not a just a private mediahouse employee, though with hard evidence.

Why the double standard?

Maybe because lasu is a Nigerian institution and FG can investigate it themselves, they can't do that in a foreign country

This is the same question some of us sensible Nigerians have been asking.

There is an agenda being pushed against Benin Republic and Togo students.

Infact to add to your observations, initially the FG suspended universities from Benin, Togo, Niger, Uganda and Kenya.

Why then did they all of a sudden exonorate Niger, Kenya,Uganda, while they ban Benin and Togo only .??

Why accept questionable certificates from Sudan, Chad, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Bangladesh, Libya etc even U.S with Tinubu's case in mind but ban Benin and Togo...??

There are so many questionable institutions in Europe, U.K and India but because it's in the western world no body will question it.

That one or two universities in a country engaged in sharp practices does not bring the whole universities in that country to disrepute, thereby putting their students in jeopardy.
That should be the standard practice.

Nigerians are very unjust to themselves.

Do they also investigate if DSS issues a statement that a planned protest against bad governance has been hijacked or they act?
