“All medical products must be obtained from authorized/licensed suppliers. The products’ authenticity and physical condition should be carefully checked.

“Anyone in possession of the affected lot is advised to immediately discontinue the sale or use and submit stock to the nearest NAFDAC office.

“If you have used this product, or someone you know, has used it, or suffered any adverse reaction/event after use, are advised to seek immediate medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Relax, politics apart. This can happen anywhere, you should just be thankful that the manufacturer raises alarm immediately. ECOMED is one the best pharma company in the country. So why must you blame a president for the negligence and unprofessionalism made by a certain people?

E sure me say you go blame Tinubu if your preek no rise for early morning

This batch of the product must have circulated far beyond control since every tom,d1ck and harry sells drugs in the country without regulation!

Many of them operating patent medicine stores would likely not know about this recall. The implication is that they'll continue to sell this problematic batch to unsuspecting Nigerians thereby causing more public health problems!
Can y'all now see why some of us advocate for more strict regulation of the pharmaceutical distribution?

Until the day you or your loved ones suffer problems associated with drugs, you'll not understand the need for stricter control of medicines in this country.

Some of you are challenged mentally. How did a batch of antibiotics produced in Ogun state by a Nigerian pharmaceutical company pass for "dumping" in your book. What has that got to do with Tinubu.

Nigeria was already a dumping ground for fake and adulterated products, that is why some legitimate producers left in the first place.

Many people won't read this press release, hence might end up buying the bad batch from a chemist shop somewhere. However, if they get a prescription from a medical professional the chances of buying the bad batch is closer to zero. That is my thought.
