Shine your eye....

This is a wayo recruitment call.....

Trump might put boots on the ground in Iran.....

USA Citizenship or Staying alive ?

Choose one.
Putting boots on the ground doesn't mean they won't return.

It's still far better than being in a hopeless country like Nigeria.

How does this comment relate to the topic

So, EU countries with diff criterium and stats are automatically not functioning countries

Korea is among the top5 here, i guess that is also not a functioning country

Sometimes, its better to just read, scroll and move past the thread than making fallacious comments like this

Most of us are too smart to see every foreign news as a medium to downtalk our own country, especially on unrelated topics
Stop turning things upside down. You'd only confuse yourself and your likes. Here, our military are leaving voluntarily due to bad welfare, substandard weapons and poor remuneration, while nationals of same country are willingly rushing to enter another country's military. What does that mean to you? Stop defending the indefensible guy. Be intelligent for once.

Imagine we have that number as recruits in our army.

Biden wasn't giving out citizenship willy-nilly.

You earn citizenship or you are born in country.

By the way, Trump cannot do anything about an American born in US.

All bluster, no bite.
The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that grants citizens by birth to people born in the USA was done by the Senate and Congress
and signed by a sitting President - so it can be undone by the current REBUBLICAN Majority Senators, REPUBLICAN Congressmen and women and signed an ever- willing REPUBLICAN President (Trump) - and when you go to the SUPREME COURT, you have a conservative majority of REPUBLICAN appointed Judges to contend with.... you gerrit?

It's GAME OVER BRO! ----- Birth Right citizens for kids of illegal aliens is ending, deal with it... grin

Be inventing your own law.

Not only does it require congress, it requires the separate states in the union.

Good luck in trying.

Baba - rest, the USA is the only western nation still stuck in this practice - in the early 80's - UK used to award citizenship by birth like kulikuli and a certain tribe from Nigeria use to abuse that - why we had so much Tokunbor names in Lagos around 1980, 81, 82 ..All that has changed since around 1984 because Every law can be amended - and in the case of the USA it does not require all EVERYONE in the 50 states to get it done, it ONLY requires Congress and Senate (who are representatives of the people and government of the so-called 50 states you mentioned) to pass it and EVER WILLING President signs it - and IF you dont like the outcome, go to court! grin

Continue with your lies.

Canada has birthright citizenship.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for Trump to revoke the law.

grin

I know it hurts you, but that's the truth.

Trump can say anything but he does not have the constitutional right and neither do the federal lawmakers.

It CAN NEVER be achieved.

Asking for a Younger cousin of mine, Can he come in thru Westpoint or Fort Wayne? Talking about ROTC here.
Your young cousin can join the U.S. Army through West Point, but not through Fort Wayne in the way you're thinking.

West Point is the premier military academy where you can receive an education and training to become a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. To attend West Point, you must be nominated by a member of Congress (or from other sources), and upon graduation, you are commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army.

He must be US citizen to get admitted.

I mean that the US Army will only admit permanent residents or actual U.S. citizens. You can't just get there on a visa and join the army.

Okay.
Thanks so much.

So how do i get the permanent resident?
That's a whole nother matter. There are a number of options:

Sponsored by employer: Usual route for STEM professionals. If you are a STEM professional and can get yourself employed in the U.S. then your employer will most likely sponsor your application for permanent residency.

Ph.D studied in a STEM course: Getting a Ph.D in a stem course can be used as a basis for permanent residency application.

Marriage to a U.S. citizen: This is by far the most common route for Nigerians(and most African countries for that matter). It's not nearly as straightforward as it seems though as so many things can go wrong, especially if the marriage was done for the sole purpose of obtaining a green card. The way it often goes(assuming that the marriage is fake) is to get a U.S citizen to marry. You have the choice of White, Hispanic, Black American, or fellow African, even Nigerian. Your choice of race/ethnicity can be a huge factor in determining whether your operation succeeds(in which case, you get your green card) or fails(in which case you get put on the first plane back to this shit-hole).

If you're going to do this marriage business with an African or a Nigerian for that matter, then know that there is a very good chance that what started as a fraudulent marriage may likely end up as a real marriage, and while this essentially guarantees you a green card the draw back is getting stuck with a spouse that may not be suitable for you.

If you are not going to choose a fellow African then you are far better off choosing either White or Hispanic(this is my opinion so take it with a grain of salt, but I have a strong suspicion that this opinion is generally true). Another opinion: White/Hispanic are more likely to treat this in a professional manner, they'll play ball so to speak, thereby increasing your likelihood of success. Black American on the other hand will bleed you dry financially(if you are a man) or try to use you for sex(if you are a woman), at the end of the day, when the big day of the interview comes they are much more likely to buckle under closer scrutiny by the immigration officer.

If you're not ready/able to go by the 3 aforementioned ways then there's always asylum. You can claim that you are LGBT, although that's probably not going to get you anywhere considering that the U.S.A has some of the strictest Asylum requirements in the world, you will be made to prove that you are indeed LGBT. A note here, Trump has vowed to end the possibility of Asylum in the U.S. so there is a real possibility that even this option will not be available next year.
