But with respect to your opinion, without English, you cannot write your projects. Hopefully you know that projects are written in English.

You must wonder why a man who could not read or write, well nurtured by Oshiomole, passed through university. Or did he write in his native language? If he did, he better still could request to read to Edo people in his own language, rather than this monumental disgrace.

To make u understand basics, I am not talking about the man, I replied the message I replied because the writer has the idea that if you can't speak fluent English, you definitely did not attend a university.
You don't attend a university to learn how to speak English if u doubt my statement, go to universities like ABU Zaria, go to BUK, go to UNIMAID, go so many universities in the north, u will meet lots of first class students in several departments who are well grounded in their field of study but struggIe so bad to communicate in English, that doesn't change the fact that they can't write project.
You don't attend a university to learn how to speak English Language, it's basics unless you have no idea what u are doing in a university, a university is not structured to teach u how to speak English unless u are studying language related courses or legal courses or a course that relies strongly on how u speak language.

There are lots of graduates excelling in several fields in Nigeria today, bank executives, engineers working in Europe today, medical doctors working in UK today that faiIed GENS 103 at their first sitting from ABU, I did my first degree in ABU, these guys went ahead in subsequent semesters to score 5.00 in their courses.
I have met them in several departments.
I know one now in Fidelity bank in Nigeria here and I'm 100% sure u can NEVER match them in terms of academic soundness.

There is nothing to defend here, although English is not our first language, anyone who studied till master's degree level has literally learnt to use English language for nothing less than 20years. His certs might be from Oluwole.

Nobody who's academically sound can be so deficient in understanding the intricacies in academics.
I doubt u even attended a university because if you did, you must have encountered what I said.

The first F will certainly push the fellow out of first class for that semester. The second D will reduce the GP further.

People finish 100L with 3.60 to 3.80 and still graduate with first class.
U can have an F in a 2 CU course and still have a GP in first class simply because u got parallel A in all ur courses.
The structure of ur course in some cases will only deduct 0.25 from GPA if you have F in a 2 CU course and A the rest, you get 4.75.
U take the exam next session and in between u got 5.00, in ur time out of 10 semesters u get 5.00 in 4 straight semesters, will that one F stop u from getting first class or getting 5.00 in 4 semesters in a row is rocket science to you?

Yes I attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, it's called GENS 103 and it's a 2 CU course, ask anyone you know in ABU to tell you otherwise.
Core courses even carry 1 CU.
Where the law is stated that core courses cannot be two units is funny.
2 CU course carries 2 hours lectures a week, a 3 CU course carries 3 hours lectures a week.
That's how it is with 1 CU and that's how the system is structured.
If u don't know this, I'm sure u didn't attend any university.

You're trying too hard to defend the indefensible bro. Calling out figures is basic, reading something that has already been written down for you is pretty basic too. If he's unable to do the basic things, where's the confidence that he can do the other 1,001 things required of a state governor? How is he to get foreign investors when he cannot communicate?
For that matter, how was he able to do his project defense in school if he can't speak English or read out figures that I'm sure he already spent a while trying to memorize? It really is a pity that this is the best apc could present to rule the state
