zereuwa:Nigerian leaders really need to put an end to this habit of traveling around the world chasing foreign investors just for foreign currency. Instead of focusing on policies that undermine local content to favor foreign investors, why not invest in developing local industries to meet international standards? That way, we can attract global patronage, strengthen our economy, and boost the value of our currency |

They should sign a bilateral agreement to make Germany visa free for holders of Nigerian passport and we will do the same for them. I know a lot of German would love to visit Nigeria but we have not been granting them visas. |

Untill the right policies are made all this is photo ops, private visits and ultimately propaganda. U cannot fix the economy with bad policies, grand corruption and propaganda. it is impossible. U can only deceive the gullible ones and zombies. |

Germany invest in our Electricity Power Sectors if you are very committed towards the development of Nigeria. I know Julius Berger is doing very well in road constructions. Wike used Julius Berger to develop roads and that is what is encouraging governor Oborevwori of Delta state to engage Julius Berger. |

When you see world leaders visiting your country, then you should know they see opportunity, partnership, investment, relationship and development. Indian Prime Minister has visited Nigeria German President and PM have visited Nigeria French President has visited. UAE officials have visited. South African President has invited your president over to his country. Saudi Royal House have invited your president to pitch his vision. Don't be alarmed if President Trump makes a surprise visit. Only a dumb person will be tone deaf to listen/understand that world leaders are beginning to take interest in Nigeria. For long, Nigeria has lacked a clear direction to harness its huge potential. Yet, a lot of people are still playing partisan politics because they are too primitive to eschew primordial sentiments. Tinubu is unpopular today because he has decided to take tough decisions that no previous Nigerian leader has taken in the last 30years. Removal of fuel subsidy scam. Removal of naira arbitrage by dubious BDC and profiteers. Tax reforms. Payment of external debt. Improving ease of doing business thereby enhancing Investor confidence. Decimation of terror cells in the north without prejudice. Shutting down leakages in the government coffers. Rising GDP through increased exportation efforts - oil and Non-oil exports. Let us support and pray for our leader to take our nation back to its rightful place as the Giant of Africa. Let us encourage our politicians to install competent and visionary leaders into positions of power. Lets discourage mediocrity, shortcut mentality and yahoo-yahoo fraudulent practices that threaten to give us a bad name among the comity of nations. |
