The country needs to balance its books.

The primary causes of the budget deficit are very generous pensions and a bloated civil service. If the waste is cut, the budget should balance pronto.

Brazil needs to make its labor market flexible. A flexible market will not only lead to a job creating boom, nut will also bring down costs but boost productivity as well.

Lastly, it needs to cut needless red tape.

That country called Argentina is in deep mess so much that it's public service and economy is in utter mess. It's the world capital of mediocrity in governance.

You don't achieve deficit by cutting off the salaries of workers and improvishing your citizens and country when great nations like Nigeria with almost 6 times the population of Argentina, is increasing salaries , providing direct palliative to support the vulnerable members of the society, embarking on huge big-budget infrastructure renewal projects like Lagos-Calabar coastal road, refineries etc , growing GDP quarter on quarter basis while fighting inflation aggressively around 30% compared to that of Argentina that is almost 300%!

As you can see, it is not yet uhuru. But see...the country is ready for investment..so things will improve.

But you Nigerians no go gree for MIllei as leader of this country at all.

Note that MIllei is doing all that so that IMF and other donors can look with favor on his country, in addition to attracting investment.

No Nigerian leader is going to do the above. Even the subsidy removal tinubu did was because there was no more money to spend.

Health and education is subsidised in NIgeria. Otherwise, you would be paying millions of naira for simple appendicetomy. and even more for CS. Fees in places like UI and UNN would cost higher than in COvenant university.

Unfortunately when President Jonathan tried to do the same in the petroleum sector by withdrawing fuel subsidy, the APC chieftains of the time, including Tinubu & Buhari, incited them against government. And they convinced Nigerians that "fuel subsidy does not exist".

The Nigerian people killed the very policies that were improving the Nigerian economy. Don't blame President Tinubu, he has no option but to start trying to clean up the mess he created in 2012 and 2015. It's important to ALWAYS remember this.

Workers in Argentina went on strikes and protests well well.

One thing stands out though... He wasn't dishonest nor corrupt. When people see that, they'll definitely adjust. Not when you're buying private jets and yacht for your family and want to slash subsidies.
