Bail does not mean a case is closed. To simply explain, It only grants the defendant freedom from custody while legal process on the case is ongoing to prove if guilty or not.

So this kind of judgement is the one that encourage our youth to steal more billions when opportunity comes so they can use some of it to bail them self and use the rest to live their life afterwards

It really bothers me. Why do people have to steal so much in this country? One man allegedly involved in a case of money laundering to the tune of 80+ billion? My God! This is quite disheartening. 5 choiced houses in high rise areas of Abuja and Dubai? How you wan take de sleep inside the houses them? Omo, our theft level in this country is incomprehensible. Note the 500 million is not even paid to Court , the two Sureties only sign a bond that peradventure the defendant jumps bail , they will be liable to pay the sum of 500 million each , so they are not paying that money as far as Mr Bello keeps on appearing in Court all through the trial .

So therefore those Billions have entered voice mail .

Not surprised. How do you commit fraud of 80 billion naira and still be walking freely like nothing happened? The GUT! This bello of a guy shouldn't have stepped out of that court without being taken down with immediate effect. That will serve as huge lesson to others and will reduce the desire to loot state's treasury. You steal public fund, even if you bribe your way through our corrupt judiciary, silent elimination will still be carried out.
