It's not gone. Just open an account with another active broker and request for share from cash craft to that new broker/account through the broker. It will be done at a fee. Not much sha.

Hope say you get evidence of the shares like CSCS statement show for it. If not, you can either contact CSCS to help you with that for a fee or ask you new broker to do a global search for it.
