My mom has been diagnosed to be diabetic
Though we have been to hospitals they have done some series of test, she received some treatment, it get better she was discharged, I just found out now that she is developing leg injury which I'm not comfortable please doctors in the house help me with the best treatment, don't want to lose my mom.

You are a good son and I am proud of you. Just take her back to the healthcare facility managing her.

Diabetes can reduce or prevent blood flow to the extremities so it's a good thing that you are concerned but please take her back.

I really appreciate, will find special hospital that has best treatment for that

Is it type 2 or type 1?
If its type 2 then she is battling Insulin resistance and diabetics is very reversible once found out on time.

Please can u give me idea what her blood sugar is currently ?

her sugar is about 280

280 is still quite high. They should give her insulin injection, it will help.
And also some tablets like pomopha.
Most importantly take her back to the hospital

Your best bet is to take her back to the hospital for proper examination and medication.


You are doing so well, but I believe in order to properly manage diabetes, asides mum taking her medication religiously, her diet has to be changed completely. Let the doctor recommend what mum can or cannot it. Do more research in that light.

1) If the blood sugar is not well controlled, the diabetic wound will not heal.

2) To prevent the wound from expanding you need to up-your-game because treating a wound without adequate blood supply as we find in diabetics is an extremely difficult task. This is why diabetics wound always lead to amputation even when they were attending the best hospitals because the proper action is not taken.

It will save you a lot of energy and time using hyperbaric oxygen therapy -hbot to heal the wound very fast.

She clearly is diabetic and you should please see and endocrinologist and not just any hospital.

The leg is yet to become a sore that won't heal so can be arrested now but the major problem is once a leg gets sores something might be coming on in the brain or heart. Please you need to see a really good Dr.

ALSO SHE SHOULD AVOID EVERY FORM OF PROCESSED OR SUGAR BASED FOOD LIKE SODA, BREAD(OF ALL FORMS) ANY THING LIKE INDOMIE, supagetti, rice, garri, STARCH, EVEN PINEAPPLES, infact any processed food or any thing opened in a packet, biscuit etc and she needs to exercise more, lots of veggies, and do more of water fast and consistently use a glugocmetre to check her blood sugar regularly as well regularly visit her Dr and the hospital..

She will be fine and her blood sugar will drop.
