The same tactics with a useless player like Sterling, won't work. Even as unimpressive as Pochettino is, he would have performed better with the fortification in attack and expulsion of Sterling. No ambitious manager will go into the season with Sterling as his winger and Maresca confirmed it.

Look at Man city with Fraudiola's tactics, he is getting sodomised up and down because of loss of form and unavailability of key players. That's why i laughed few weeks ago, when some people said Fraudiola was the key. Let Haaland gets injured, he will be swimming in relegation waters by May without shoring up with quality players.
