The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise-level WordPress installations that handle millions of views per month. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and excels at working remotely with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress installations, including themes and plugins.
• Optimize WordPress sites for performance, scalability, and security at an enterprise level.
• Customize and extend WordPress themes using PHP to meet design and functionality
requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to WordPress environments.
• Implement and maintain WordPress security best practices to protect high-traffic sites.
• Collaborate with remote teams to define and prioritize project requirements.
• Maintain documentation and provide guidance on WordPress architecture and development
processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing large-scale WordPress installations (millions of monthly views). • Expert proficiency in PHP and its application in WordPress development.
• Extensive experience with WordPress plugins, themes, and custom coding.
• Deep understanding of WordPress security protocols and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction. • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones.
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with modern web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating external services with WordPress. • Background in DevOps or familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus.
