We don't really have many top quality strikers, that's why someone like Morata could still be playing for a top side.

However, among those available now, we can still rate Gyokeres as top 3 striker in the world. Good that Deeney said that's his own opinion, which can be proved wrong with time. I suspect he is using Gyokeres playing in the Portuguese league to stereotype.

If you watch his goals since when he was in Coventry, you will know that Gyokeres is not an emergency striker like Jackson.
