500 hundred Gini ?
Maybe in the core north, those down south would start from 2k+ asking price
Oga calm down.

There's 1k watermelon in the south too.

From farm gate, it shouldn't exceed that 500 Naira per ball he mentioned.

Cos there's still transport, logistics, and loss from the ones that will spoil.

Yes
If "YES" you made heaps, how were you able to water it this season? And what measure did you employed to prevent rodent from feasting in your farm?

Natural? Are there unnatural ones?
Yes, the seedless watermelon. Those fruits without seeds are not natural. They are not organic.

I love it too but the people in this my current location are very wicked.

Before the plant is due for harvest, they either destroy it or make sure you don't get to see the benefits.....

sad cool

How do you handle the rodent infestation problem?
The problem with our farming down there in the south is that we don't buy pesticides to fight insects in our farms, try consult agricultural firms that sell these pesticides over there

I discovered somethings in Kano here in my 3 years of farming; things that are planted here can do well even better in our place.
Use of pesticides, irrigation system of farming coupled with help from agric agencies here is a big advantage here

it's 2 months, you can sell at 500 naira. But beauty of watermelon is to be big so as for them to be able to cut it, if it's not big, they might not really want to buy it. In mile 12 Lagos, they buy around one for 800 big one. An acre should fill one dogobaro truck
