Get the miners out, now , send them back to their home countries and bar them from re-entering South Africa if you want, but

So you want SA police to go down an abandoned mine whose terrain they're unfamiliar with, which has been declared structurally unstable and also alledgedly has hundreds of armed gang members down there who know the terrain better than SAPS?

What's the difference between the cops going down there and the illegal miners resurfacing on their own? Either way they're still gonna face arrest so they should save the cops and SA the trouble.
