Best Courses to Study in the University! Wise parents would guide their kids appropriately! You must be intentional especially if you are from developing countries in Africa and Asia!

1- Nursing
Nurses are in high demand all over the world and are well remunerated! The Phillipines,Indians and Nepalese understand this fact and almost every family ensures they train a nurse who eventually migrates to Australia, UK, America or Canada or even the gulf countries and earn between 40k-200k USD per year!
In Nigeria, u study Nursing for 3 yrs in a nursing school or 4-5 yrs in the University. Both degrees are acceptable! When u get ur degree, passing the foreign exams is very easy for Nigerian graduates as they are trained with the British/American Syllabus!

2- Radiography
Nigerian trained radiographers don’t need to write any exam to practise in the UK . This is a 5 yr course and after finishing , u look for a job abroad and move! Australia is also partly recognising it. They earn between 50k - 150K USD per year

3- Medicine
Nigerian trained doctors are making waves all over the world and we are one of the leading exporters to the west. Medicine takes 6 yrs and after internship you can easily write your foreign exams. Nigerian guys easily smash these exams because they are trained with the American/British syllabus. Doctors in the west earn between 100k-600K USD per year depending on level of specialisation.

4- Pharmacy
5 year course. Highly sought after all over the world. Pay in the west ranges from 50k-200k USD . After graduating, u write the foreign exams which are easy to smash!

I encourage African parents to take a cue from the Phillipines, Indians,Cubans and Nepalese. All u need is one of your kids to do this and the whole family would be happy for life! We must help our kids make the right choices and decisions. They would be eternally grateful!

Your suggestions are super,but then,how are science students encouraged in Nigeria? In some of our tertiary schools, basics science laboratory equippments are not readily available. Many would- be individuals are frustrated by reason of high cost of school fees.

So everyone should be a heath or medical officer.
So what you re saying that there will be no more accountant, builders, engineer, IT officer, cleaner, securitymen etc

Nawoo for una. Very soon people will overcrowd this noble profession (health sector) with quacks and zealots

Studying these tedious courses n still end up collecting salaries. That still a little close to poverty line.
