Why will they convert it to dollars? Is dollars Nigeria currency?
Of course Major parameters used to assess the economy require conversion to dollars. Okay let us go by what you are saying right we use Naira. Please what is inflation rate and CPI index? Now if you cross reference this against the revenue, you will see that this counts as nothing. The rate is actually declining against inflation.

What are your governors doing with the humongous FAAC allocation.....guess they won't make life easier for your people. Afterall your ancestors did the same......divert the allocated resources to fund a needless civil war. When cornered, they ran away as cowards that they are.......

The impact of this highest IGR must be reflective on the wellbeing of the populace. Alas, the effect of this monumental revenue is not being felt but read on the print and social media.

What does all this big english mean to the starving masses?

> Does it mean that a bag of garri would now be 10k?
> Does it mean there would be more jobs for the unemployed?
> Does it mean that onions won't be 500 naira/2 (my location)

Please explain...
Increased IGR, increased exports, savings from subsidy removal, increased everything, yet the borrowing are all time high. They cannot pay more than N70k minimum wage.

People are frustrated.

The people have also shortchanged themselves by voting individuals with low credibility into the respective state house of assembly; thus there is no check and balance for the Governors. The Governors keep milking the state dry while sharing the loot with the state legislators.

It’s pathetic.

People need to begin to hold their governors accountable. They are in charge of lands and they can decide to allot as much as they want to farming

Lagos is building one of the largest food hubs in Africa to help in storage and processing so foods don’t go to waste and become expensive.

Other states should do likewise and utilize their lands for farming
Go and sit somewhere bros

You think you can deceive peeps like us. Propaganda does not bring good developments.

Convert to dollars and tell us wetin you see. Convert to dollars and compare with other previous years.

True Bro.

But in my opinion, in this side of the world procreation is overly bastardized.

Why is it a must to have 5 or more children.

Because you repeatedly have female children...you continue till you have a male and stop at 9 (8 females, 1 male)

Two that you can feed and send to good schools is more than enough
You are absolutely right, we need a law that will checkmate excesses in procreation. Small cold weather, they are making babies, even the ones that have not fed themselves, no jobs, under that condition, they are still bearing children, you will see a poor man in one room apartment with 5 children. This is our major problem as a nation, we increase child production more than the economy can bear, thereby rendering development obsolete.

Do you know that, in 1960, the population of Nigeria and Germany was the same, today, we are almost 5 times their population. In fact, their population is around the same thresh-hold may be 0.001 percent increases in the same period.

Imagine our revenue 3. trillion, and imagine our population was 50million?
Imagine the entire population residing in Lagos were to be 5 million, Abuja 2M, Kano 4, Kaduna 3, other big states 2M and smaller states 1 - 1.5M? Imagine how successful the country would be and how spacious and evenly distributed wealth and development will be

mumu! Which useless allocation? Convert useless allocation to present exchange rate and see if that amount is not less than the previous allocation.
As far as inflation is very high your money is valueless.

If only some Africans can think beyond food and procreation.
This reforms no matter how successful will still not help some people just because of their mindset.
Provision of food in abundance is the first step towards national development.
If there is food for the people, crime reduces drastically, food is always the cheapest thing in developed nations
