Chris Brown's first of two concerts in South Africa went without a glitch on Saturday evening at the 94,000 seater FNB Stadium (Soccer City) in Johannesburg.

This despite a petition that had been brought forward by an anti-GBV group, Women for Change, to have the US artist banned from SA for past incidents of violence. The petition received over 50,000 signatures.

The second concert will hold on Sunday at the same venue.
