Religion plays no part in British politics unlike Nigeria that keeps bickering Muslim Christian tickets. The last leader of the Conservative party was Hundu. The current mayor of London is Muslim.

I don't think religion had actually played any ŕole in British politics since the adoption of constitutional monarchy as a form of government. Religion plays a part in the monarchy but not in the Parliament.

You know I am not a fan of Trump, but I must admit or rather surrender that he is a genius. He just like powerful rulers of the past understand power and how to acquire it. He seems more sane than you and I. He is able go against all established norms and succeed against all odds.

That may be your opinion, which I dont share. Many in history have recognised and weaponised hate and succeeded and for me, that does not make them geniuses.
