No bank would want to pay a fine of 150 million therefore any bank employee caught selling new currency notes will be fired instantly!

God bless the CBN ,our local bankers have turned themselves to currency hawkers. Learnt they now sell naira to POS owners. What Emefiele left behind can't die easily because his boys in the system have been used to making much money illegally . God will continue to expose and judge them in Jesus name.

They are doing nothing about the POS pandemichuh

It’s annoying that you can get cash at the bank or atm anymore, but can get same from the POS.

You are right!
The Solutions is for CBN Officials to see,at least 3- different Banks and their Branches,as an example,by monitoring the Banks in Loading the New -Naira- for the Public, then see how those Money will vanished,as the CBN Officials too Collude with Branches to violate the Rules!
It's the Criminal -Scheme between the Branch -Management and their ' Boys' at the Banking Hall and the POS Agents!
How can the POS Agents be having New- Notes, than Nigerians, who even patronise the ATM?
•From Island to Mainland,in Lagos and it's Suburbs-you can Only get Old and tear Notes!
Are We Sick and how Patrotic Are We?
Very Shameful!

Good nice move .

Anyways , people now don't care about mint again for 'owanbe'

Anything you give the celebrant of the occasion now is accepted .
Of course, people still care going by the report we read here yesterday. And going by the number of people I saw going into this business of new naira notes hawking and the cost to their patronisers, Nigerians are still into it big time. 50k new notes for 65k transfer!!

The CBN should also create a channel for reporting/investigation... One told me the other day that N20,000 mint charge was N5,000. No channel to report them.
It is only by luck you would see an ATM dispensing new naira notes. That means all bankers are in on this from the branches' managers down the line.

Eheh.

Well yes people do care , but it's reducing because the cost to change money , is getting ridiculous.

I want 20k they will say I should pay 30k. For wetin ??

Well, as they say , we can't tell people what to do with their money.

Anything that rocks their boat and polish their egos .

Ive witnessed numerous times that bank cashier's and other bank staff call or come to verbally invite PoS operator to come and collect cash , while there is still long queues in the same bank oo. And their ATMs not dispensing.

Rhetoric, you still see people selling mint on the road while ATMS are not dispensing cash. If they are send in pictures in your local bank.
