The removal of subsidies and the floating of the Naira by the CBN actually affected the nation Economy, I still believe that he has something cooking that will later improve and better the Nigeria economy, anything short of that is a wrong policies that is purposely made to destroy the nation Economy and to make the people suffer for no reasons.

Re: Tinubu’s Policies Are Pathways To Poverty – Governor Oborevwor by musicwriter(m):
Tinubu has done the right thing but it has been done late (but there's no good time to do it). The rewards would come later, not now.

This should have been done since the 80's instead of SAP programs and later everyday increase of fuel price by other administrations.

If it was done earlier, we would have gotten used to it and be better off by now.

This is the first time in my adult life that Nigeria has elected a president that not only knows what to do but ready to sacrifice himself to get it done instead of playing politics.

The ancients already studied this and I can see clearly that a natural principle is playing out here. The savior sacrifices his/her life to solve a major problem but would not be appreciated.

And now Tinubu, fools like you had taking it as a duty to spill nonsense.

By four years time, you will not get younger and more responsibility will be on you while you are left with nothing than to blame who I don't know.

Mr idiot, learn how to put pressure on your leaders to sit up while they are managing your affairs. That's why you are educated more than those in motor parks.

Can we also compare it with when PDP's Jonathan was in office, before T-Pain repackaged his 2011 CPC expired soldier as APC messiah of change huh

Emergingnation:
Flashback: How Bola Tinubu spoke highly of Buhari in 2015, named PDP ‘Poverty Development Party

National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu had during the presidential campaign in 2015, referred to President Muhammadu Buhari as the only solution for the security and economic challenges facing Nigeria.

During a mega presidential rally, the former governor of Lagos State recalled how some powerful nations in the world returned to army generals when they were challenged, saying “Major General Buhari would revive Nigeria’s economy”.

He named the current opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP as the “Poverty Development Party saying they had nothing to offer.

His words at the time were; “Every nation has a period of their own challenges, when America was challenged, they turned to one great man, their ex-military general, General Eisenhower. When the French were challenged, they turned to their general, Charles de Gaulle.

“When Britain was challenged, they turned to their general. Today, Nigeria is economically and physically challenged so we turn to General Muhammadu Buhari. He is the right man for the job. If you talk about military experience, he has it abundantly, he has courage, simplicity, he has it abundantly.

“If you talk about great determination, a combination of vision and ability to perform, honesty and integrity, he has it abundantly.

“I laugh when the incapable government, ‘Poverty Development Party’ PDP were talking. They have nothing again to say, they now want to question the qualifications of General Buhari and look for his certificate”.

Following the manifestos in 2015 which projected the APC presidential candidate as a ‘saviour’, Buhari defeated the then incumbent president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with Nigerians expecting a total change in security and economy.

mrvitalis:
There is absolutely no economic theory that justifies APC economic policies from 2015 till date

If you take out time to study the economic situation you find out

1) things haven't gotten expensive Nigerians just got poorer from a GDP per capita of over 3000 dollars to a GDP per capita of less than 1000 dollars that's over 66.667% loss of wealth

2) the currency devaluation situation... APC have lied to Nigerians that our excessive imports is what's causing the Naira to grow weaker... Lmaooo

- a simple look at the trade balance sheet since 2015 shows we are in a trade surplus... So why is the dollar falling? Because of government borrowing

APC government is the biggest consumers of forex in other to build near useless feel good projects that won't make any money

Each time government borrows money to build inflated bridge, road or steal it makes every Nigerian poorer

So the mooping up of dollars to service debt is why naira is falling

Next year thy would borrow 40 trillion which would make naira fall I predict to ₦2250 minimum by 2027 I predict our GDP to be at 150 to 120 billion dollars

APC don't understand the fundamental problem we have so can't even attempt to fix it
This is a very good analysis. Learnt so much . Thanks
