A bold governor...

This is one instance when the focus should be on the message and not the messenger.

Apc as a whole have failed woefully in the most important aspect of governance... making life better for the masses, primarily by increasing the purchasing power and reducing living costs.

In 2014, during the festive season like this, N18,000 would get you the following:

1 bag of rice - N8,000
1 Chicken - N2500
Small Basket of onions- 1,500
Small basket of tomatoes- 800
Small basket of pepper- 600
5 litres of Groundnut oil- 1250
5 litres of palm oil- 2500

Christmas is set for you, your family and invited guests.

Today...

With N70,000

1 bag of rice - N105,000
1 Chicken - N30000
Small Basket of onions- 3000
Small basket of tomatoes- 2000
Small basket of pepper- 2000
5 litres of Groundnut oil- 20000
5 litres of palm oil- 18000

So, today, you need N180,000 to have the same level of satisfaction you got with N18,000 in 2014.

Depending on the calculation/format you wish to use, that is between 400 to 1000 percent increase in the cost of living or same percentage in the reduction of the purchasing power.

And some clowns say things are getting better...
In the western world you always dream to go ,is the price of things 10years ago the same as we have it now

The removal of subsidies and the floating of the Naira by the CBN actually affected the nation Economy, I still believe that he has something cooking that will later improve and better the Nigeria economy, anything short of that is a wrong policies that is purposely made to destroy the nation Economy and to make the people suffer for no reasons.
Omo, you go hope taya, if you think these set of people are doing anything to improve the economy order than dishing out propaganda, you are on a very long thing .

...but then, what is he doing with the allocations he is getting...huge or small..what is he dping with ithuh
Read, please. He clearly asked you to state the benefit of increased allocation when prices of items have become excessively inflated?

What is the point of increasing allocations and your minimum wage to 70k when a crate of eggs, which used to sell for N900 when the minimum wage was N30k, now sells for N6000?

Tinubu's higher allocation lacks validity. It is counter-productive, counter-intuitive, and can only appeal to economic dunces and misfits.

All the Billions of dollars collected by Delta state since 1999 what did the state government do with it. Nothing to show for the billions allocated to the state.

After collecting the highest allocation from The FAAC in the country for the last 15 years, Delta state should show Nigerians what they did with all the monies?

Tinubu has done the right thing but it has been done late (but there's no good time to do it). The rewards would come later, not now.

This should have been done since the 80's instead of SAP programs and later everyday increase of fuel price by other administrations.

If it was done earlier, we would have gotten used to it and be better off by now.

This is the first time in my adult life that Nigeria has elected a president that not only knows what to do but ready to sacrifice himself to get it done instead of playing politics.

The ancients already studied this and I can see clearly that a natural principle is playing out here. The savior sacrifices his/her life to solve a major problem but would not be appreciated.
please can you list the sacrifice Tinubu has made that is affecting him?
