Why Tinubu Economic Policies Are Fauty And Will Lead Nigeria To No Way by paxonel(op):
I will use simple language to explain this :

The truth is, even if you give President Tinubu another 30 years to test-run his economic policies, it will only lead to continuous hardship to Nigerians without any headway. Here are the reasons :

1. There is no economy that is sustained without movement of goods and services: Every economic investors be it public or private services 100% depends on movement of logistics
2. Every movement depends on source energy : In the case of Nigeria, petrol is 95% source of energy.
3. It follows that if there is petrol scarcity due to high cost, the economy is crippled.

Now, these are the simple logical explanation as to how most powerful economies of the world are sustained.

The key word there is Energy

Of which, most of these energies do not depend on fossil fuel and solid mineral resources but are greatly dependent on human resources. Only that the human resources will need atleast a little power by way of subsidy.

I will use America as an example as a case study:
As powerful as the American economy, fossil energy subsidy(petrol) is what sustains their economy

And one may ask, since the American government provides subsidy to the cost of petrol. How much do Americans buy petrol?

While I agree that Tinubu economic policy are going to fail because in reality there is no economic policy na just propaganda

But your reasoning is flawed and here is my reason

1) goods and mostly moved around by diesel powered trucks and busses... So the issue of petrol is not important and there is no scarcity of diesels

Now, let's Convert $0.89 to naira and see what it is .

We have N1.37kobo.

It follows that the subsized cost of petrol people buy petrol in the US equivalent to naira is N1.37kobo per litre.

Do you see that?
Lol.
Re: Why Tinubu Economic Policies Are Fauty And Will Lead Nigeria To No Way by paxonel(op):
So, are there countries in the world that do not subsize petrol?

In the whole wide world, Only Norway, Iceland, Sweden ,Denmark, Netherlands and Nigeria are currently into deregulation.

But among this list, only Nigeria is not into sustainable energy, yet Nigeria is deregulating, imagine the nonsense.

Una die wella grin

So, how many vehicles in nigeria are runned by Diesel compared to the ones runned by petrol?

I work with local suppliers of agricultural products.
In most local markets products are mostly transported by molue buses powered by petrol, so what are we saying?

Wrong!

In either way, these countries are getting fuel through subsidies or smuggling.

And Cameroon that has reduced subsidy, go and see how terrible their economy and exchange rate
