Ms. Kemi knows that a declaration of ambivalence about the essence of religious worship is a call to arms for Nigerians whose lives are defined by religious observance, regardless of personal conduct be that law-abiding or criminal in nature.

A lot of British folks don't identify as regular church goers but as agnostics, or they belong to other beliefs anyway contrary to the belief of African Xtians (especially Nigerians) who assume they go to the regular orthodox church and make a noise while speaking in tongues the way they do. This is why their is a culture shock when the pentecostal folks go to London and they start preaching in a public park loudly ONLY to get cautioned and/or arrested by the Police for public disturbance

Sunday is the day devoted to the worship of the Sun God (Sol Invictus) in the ancient world. The ancients knew they were worshipping the Sun because the all-powerful Sun provided LIGHT and made CROPS grow for the advancement of mankind. Several ancient pagan (OR indigenous) religions (based on astrotheology symbols such as the Sun, Moon, and Stars) in the ancient times from the great Persian Empire of Cyrus the Great who was a Zoroastrian, the Roman Empire, the Greek Empire, ancient Egypt all had religions based on the worship of the Sun God. The Sun God worship has survived till this day via institutionalization through Emperor Constantine of Rome.

Relics of paganism based off of Sun worship have succeeded till today! The days of the week from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday are all named after the pagan Gods or deities of Europe and the ancient world. It's NOT an accident that this was done. Saturday is devoted to the worship of Saturn, Sunday is devoted to the worship of the Sun (Sun God), etc.

In your history, you didn't find it there that it was the Christians that ended slavery in the world today? Something which your ancestral forefathers happily traded in. They sold your parents for dry gin and gun powder.

What I know is that, the Bible says, in Christ, there is no male or female, no slave or free, everyone is equal in God's sight. That is what ended slavery till date.
