The report reads: “The Iranian government seeks to exploit the decline of U.S. and French influence in sub-Saharan Africa to increase its political, economic and military influence on the continent. This expansion began in Burundi, Burkina Faso, the Republic of Congo, and has now extended to Nigeria. This is the part that should worry lots of Africans. That paragraph is loaded with allsorts of imperialists innuendos. They will soon use this new "Iranian influence in Africa" as an excuse to start assassinating presidents and political leaders in the continent. It used to be "the socialist/communist influence in Africa". That cost Africa dozens of political prophets including Lumumba and Sankara. Then "the Chinese influence", and now "the Iranian influence". Exotic terms being used by murderous western intelligence agencies to eliminate true leaders in the African continent and as a result destabilise the continent. |

obailala:It's all about the contract terms signed before purchasing the planes. It's like an intellectual property like copyrights where you can't play a movie sold to you in public... Now see it this way... Iran supports terrorism. USA planes are sold to Iran by those who purchased from Nigeria. These planes bring in funds for Iran and at times are used to transport these terrorists who are hell bent on wiping usa off the surface of the earth... How would it sound that a major attack was carried out by usa with help from one of their planes sold to Iran by Nigeria?? |

motymop:Good thinking. Nigeria isn't a zombie nation to be fighting other people's foe. Iran isn't Nigeria 's enemy and Nigeria shouldn't allow the west to use it as proxy to fight Iran. If Azman trades aircraft with Iran, so what? After all, the Iranians will pay Azman and the money will be in hard currency, which will help boost our forex. I know some mumu will come here to exhibit their mobid, fanatical ignorance, but if Azman or anybody else did sell aircraft to Iran, that's business. In fact, Airpeace and other businesses should exploit the situation and make good bucks. Nigeria should be non aligned and do good business with ALL countries on earth for the benefit of the country, not minding the blackmail of the west. God bless our dear native land of Nigeria and shame her detractors. |

If your family member committed a crime in North Korea you and your parents will be sent to jail or killed If your sister came out with no headscarf in Iran she could go to jail or end up raped and killed You can’t get a job to buy 3 square meals in Venezuela today Fuel is your only problem? Then your own problem is small |

Air Peace and Ibom Air are helping Nigerians fly from one place to another. Azman that should have added to that effort is busy giving planes to terrorists. Northern Nigeria really hates Nigeria. They work at cross purposes with anything good. Later Sanusi will say Northern Nigeria is under developed. Why will it not underdevelop when they always support evils like terrorism, economic destruction of consumer goods, retrogressive laws and all manners of senseless things. The Aviation ministry and NCAA should be axed for this criminal negligence. Meanwhile Buhari/Sirika's Nigeria Air:
